I live about an hour north in Selinagrove. I don't see a lot of people from the area on here.

I'm in Elizabethtown . . . not too far away.  I've been looking to play with some people on a semi-regular basis . . . if you don't mind playing with someone who will shoot a 73 one day and 88 the next :(.

I haven't played anywhere around Harrisburg for a while . . . maybe Dauphin Highlands?  As far as date and time, let's see how long it takes for things to dry out a bit.

Question for your Harrisburg area guys.  What are the Hershey CC courses like.   We will be playing two rounds there in a few weeks.  One on the West course and probably one on the Links course.    What are your thoughts on those two courses.    There is a slight possiblity we may have a spot open for the fourth.  If so I'll post here and see if any of you are available.

I've only played at the west, and it is a very nice course, with PGA tour feel.

You better call hershey CC before you make a trip there. I spoke to on of my friends that is a member there and the East and west course are both closed due to the heavy flooding on the courses. I wish i could find the pic I saw but It was of #4 and #6 on the west course were under about 20ft of water.

You would be correct!  There are considerable damage to the courses with  one hole probably on the West being closed for the year.  There are  also numerous sink holes!

Thank you both for the heads up.  I'm really sorry to hear that about your courses.  I know what a historic course the West is.  We are still a few weeks away although it sounds like there will still be some holes or the couse closed by that time.  We will look at the alternatives at The Links and Dauphine Highlands.

Thanks Again for the info.
