I just picked up a Odyssey Dual Force 882 on ebay about 3 weeks ago. It's got a Crown Jumbo grip, and I've been pretty deadly with it since putting it right in my bag... Best $45.00 I've spent in a while! Oh yhea, I had to go for another $7.39 for the headcover...roughly $53.00 - still a good deal!

Hmmm,

At times I have bagged a Tommy Armour "Silver Scot".  Is that an 8802?

I still own an 8802 putter but to be honest, the Odyssey white ice I am bagging at the moment works better for me.  Its nice to bring the 8802 putter out once in a while.

I have played with the 8802 style since Grandpa gave me his IMG Ironmaster 30 years ago. Other models that I game include:

Several 8802's including the first 60's model
Several Scotty Cameron Napa's from 95-98 Production to VII, Valley, & California special release
8813 w/ fluted shaft & flag grip
Arnold Palmer Origonal (not designed by)
Black Cleveland Designed by Ben Crenshaw
Ray Cook Austin 1 & softie 2200
Yes Nicky & Pro Gear
Palombi Tradition 2007 (Awesome Rainbow Finish)
BB7 355g
Wizard 600( Unfortunatly not G. Low)
Current Gamer is a Flanigan 335g

I like the Flanigan compared to the 8802 and Napa because of the were the center of gravity/ Sweet spot is. The Flanigan has it right in the middle of the face. Compared to the 8802 and Napa that have the sweet spot placed more toward the heel. Because of that Flanigan gets a close second to the first 8802 in feel and feed back.

Hit it Harder & Play more Break!!!

Just Finished ordering a Ping Sedona the other day.

Currently the bag goes back and forth between a Yes Nicky and a Ping Anser F Ti.

the Nicki is more a Wizzard 600 than  8802 though.

And the Sedona is an 8802 at address but with a bit o Ping to it, a good feeling to know.

Time to build up a Snake Eyes SV1 as a winter project since Golfsmith has a closeout on putter heads, True Temper heavy shafts and leather Gripmaster Grips.

Hi
Original 8813 black head and also an 8813 reissue. The best blade putter ever is the 2002 Ping JAS Tess! Has not been out of my bag since I got it new in 02.  Still looks new.

I have recently returned to the 8802 model, after a few seasons ho'ing...and not putting any better!
Currently gaming a Tad Moore Barn Find, after previously bagging an old Wilson Arnold Palmer (old beaten up model with Germanic font). You definitely have to be on your stroke on the short ones...but anything outside 15 foot is far better with this style of putter

The copper BB2 (RJB1982) will be heading out to Pevely Farms in St. Louis tomorrow.  We'll see if it can roll the ball over the Volkswagons they have buried in those greens.

I only own one 8802 styled putter. It's a 2008 Yes "Nicky". I liked it a lot when I bought it because it had a hosel, ferrule and was the exact same lenght heel to toe as my blades. I felt instant confidence looking down at it. Over the last couple of years I've made a couple of upgrades like an IOmic grip and a Frequency Filtered Shaft - now I love it - so much that my Odyssey Black Series #1 became a display piece in my music studio.
