Adams 9064LS is a good one in that category. Nice deep face and short from front to back, surprisingly forgiving for that shape.

Hard to beat the traditional pear shape of the Nak. Just a beautiful club.

Still love my original VR tour.  I've tried to kick it out of the bag with a Razr, 910 and R11 but the  VR Tour is still there.

9064 is a pretty nice deep head. Super Deep is pretty deep, and pear shaped. Real short front to back.

I'd say the SHAPE of the 910 D3 is really attractive, but, I don't think the face is near as deep as the others mentioned.

Is there a difference in launch angle between deeper faced drivers and more relatively shallow ones?  While I think those head shapes look attractive, I wonder if my 98mph swing speed would be able to adequately keep the ball in the air.

Most generally launch lower, with less spin.

Depends on your swing though. Might be really spinny, high launch and a deeper face might help you.

In general though, you right. A lower swing speed, won't generate enough spin/launch to keep a deeper face in the air long enough to maximize distance. However, it's not a hard and fast rule, so demo one!

+1 on the TEE CB4 driver i hit one in Santa Ana and it blew my mind. HOWEVER i have found the Ping i15 to be a phenomonal club and to be very traditional in look. the all black is GREAT for making it look smaller then it is. and the Blend of forgiveness and shaping ability is unparralled. i do think the new bridgeston j40 drivers might make it in my bag next year though.

Not exactly pear shaped, but the s2 is close. To my eye, the 983k head shape was perfect and this driver and reminds me of one, but in black, with less spin and much more forgiving across the face being 460cc's.
