I have 12 weddings this year, so far, and that's enough to double my income.

As a recently married guy I can attest to quality photographers making a very good wage for their work. Being a guy (i.e. someone who knows nothing of the sorts) at first I thought it was a joke seeing the estimated figure in the Excel spreadsheet we used to track expenses for the wedding. Between flowers and photos budget I thought she was pulling a fast one on me and going on a vacation, a shopping spree, and putting a down payment on a new car.....
As an engaged guy, planning his wedding, I can confirm all of this. The photographer related costs is unreal but she has never complained too much about my spending habits.

9 years after graduating I'm still 50/50 on whether I would have been better to skip the degree and go straight into work after A-Levels.

Got done with that and knocked out a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Communications.
Now I do photography. And play golf.
