Exactly what I was thinking, the bottom wasn't great but then at address it's one of my all time favorites

I'm confused...are there two different types of J40 irons? The 4,7, and 9 look like J38's. I'm liking the tourstage 705/B-stones.

Thanks for the preview!

The J40 DP are a subtle progression, and still look good.
The J40 CB are intriguing.  Look much like the TS models used by Kuch and Snedeker.  The sole looks wider than the DP but the tri-level is something I got to try.

The satin wedge looks incredible.  Fantastic stamping and branding.  So clean!

The Drivers look good from the business end.  A revamped J33???

The fairway and hybrid, meh?

The bag, downgrade.

Had I never seen the J40 cavity back [that looks like the TS705] I would be stoked at the upgrade in look from the j38dpc to the j40dpc,...but now I'm a little puzzled as to why they didn't incorporate the 705 into a dpc design to make split sets of a similar design [aesthetic and functional] more seemless.

Looks like two totally different irons instead of one logical offering called j40.  seems schizophrenic.

clubs look great but now I'm not as stoked.  Tourstage had a pocket design in the 705 "S" model - why not stick to that?

All of it looks great. never hit anything from Bridgestone except for there balls. May have to find a used j33r driver (heard great things about it).

The drivers look good to me.  I was surprised when I saw the current version of the iron in person...very large compared to what I'm used to.

Bridgestone is one of my favorite brands. I will have to take a closer look once they hit the market. Any idea what the stock shafts are going to be for the J40 lines?

I feel the same. The irons and wedges look really great. Seems like it was forever since they last released a driver and woods, I kinda liked the J38 graphics better but I'll wait to see how these perform.

I was planning on buying their black stand bag but I don't like this one as much (going for all black look and I liked the huge "B" logo). No big deal though, this one looks fine but not for me.

Thanks for the pics!

* drool *  I love the shadow B on the sole of the clubs.  That said, the J38 is such a bomber I can't see taking them out of the bag just for looks (thanks for dropping the yellow from the previous color scheme, Bridgestone...gotta think the headcovers are much improved too).

Speaking of bags, I wish they'd make one with at 7 dividers...sheesh.

Just got my j38 driver and wedges and irons, damn Bridgestone. Guess it's time to sell and buy again. Been dying for a new hybrid to replace my j33,s. Looks great all all of it. Sign me up for driver wedges hybrid and maybe those cb irons.

Looks great.  Bridgestone always seems to satisfy in the looks department.  Traditionalists get their sub 460 heads and thin topline/minimal offset irons, but there is a helpful option for the less skilled.  I know there was a reason that I wanted to back to bridgestone this year.  I have just confirmed that thought!
