I'm trying to stock up my putter collection, but I've got a long way to go before I'm even in the neighborhood of Tai lol.

Just picked up a nike method 001, really like the roll it puts on the ball, just seems like it wants to hug turf right off the face.

Putter count is up to 4 as of today haha.

I went back to my Wilson 8802 and had PGA Superstore bend PER my putting stroke. I will use the IPING software and see what it say about my stroke and setup next time...Sam

BTW, still waiting to see Matt $$$ putter.

Don't worry Sam there will be a whole topic devoted to that bad boy. plus I will update my WITB with pics as well. I had heard Byron ran out of rincon necks so I am not sure of the ETA as of right now, which is fine by me as I am not looking forward to the second half of the payment hahahaha.

The longer Matt has to wait for his Byron, the longer it will be before I try to convince my wife that I need one, too haha.


In driver news, I stuffed the superdeep head with 4 cotton balls to bring up the swing weight and muffle the sound a bit, hoping to get Superdeep performance with j33r sound.

Yeah, and I'd still love to have them! I actually brokered a deal for my friend who was selling the baby blades, wish I couldve afforded them. I've positive that I have less in to my ENTIRE bag than what the baby blades sold for, even at a screaming deal.

Exactly. Night and day difference in consistency with the 9064 vs the SD, and not losing any real distance. Maybe when nutted absolutely perfect, the SD was a hair longer, but I am getting MUCH better overall results from the Adams. Thats key for me especially since most of my bad rounds come from being in trouble off the tee.

I've got the LDA version which I'd like to compare side by side with the "retail" 9064, but the  LDA seems like it might have a deeper face and man does it set up pretty!

Blake called it, Method is gone, added a Kia Ma TP Monaco putter.

This one has to last me awhile haha

Also put in a graphite design Aura  RED 70x shaft in the 9064ls, looking forward to hitting it monday and see how it behaves.

Oh, also threw in some x200's in the 3-pw and 52 degree

Bummed I promised my wife I wouldnt ho for awhile, I had 10 putts in the first 3 holes this past sunday haha.

How did you like the aura shaft? I have heard mixed reviews. I dont have a huge "shaft budget" right now and thought about picking one up.

I actually really dig it. I too am on a budget, and I feel that it was definitely worth the $35 it cost me. I play it in a higher launching head but it gives me a nice low/mid ball flight. Not sure of the numbers, but spin seemed fine. We're playing on overseeded courses right now so were not getting any release in the fairway, but the carry distance is solid.

Pretty massive overhaul to the top end of my bag, and a different putter as well, but I am incredibly pleased. Dare I say... I am set for 2011? Hahaha pics to come!

Details!?!?!  How did the smaller head driver end up working for you?

I picked up the 906f2 which is my favorite 3w of all time, found a nice one and swooped it up. My problem is that I kinda hit it too far off the deck haha, I need a club that will be a 250-260 club, my 3w is 250-260 is I play a bubba cut haha.

The driver has worked out much much better than expected. I don't know what it is about it but I just hit it so much more consistently and I'm really not giving up any distance. Fairways hit have gone way up, which really pleases me since driving tends to be my major downfall, at least in the past. I put a ust proto shaft, 66xx, and it really brought it to life. I have been working with my golf pro buddy to just play a cut all day, and this is the most consistent ball flight I've ever had with a driver, much more along the line of swinging my 3w, or at least I trick myself into thinking that way lol.


So I guess it's not that massive of an overhaul lol.
The putter is a Kirk currie brazos that has to be my post prized possession/ deal hunting find as of yet. Been working on my short game more than usual now that my long game has come along so hopefully 2012 will bring me some solid golf!

Still no scratch td irons, that's coming for a graduation gift in a year or two lol

I'm kind of in the same boat, but the Nike VR LTD is no joke and sounds incredible.   I've also hit the new Tour Stage driver, but it's just so much $$$.  I've got some other things coming in from a friend that I'm going to mess around with and maybe put a review up, but that wont be for a few months.

Titleist 906 f2 75x aldila NV

Magregor Pro C/M 3-6 cavity 7-PW blade
X200 shafts, +.25  Lamkin 3gen white/black grips

Wedges are Mizuno MP T-10 wedges, 54/8 and 56/10 bent to 58

Putter is a cool Kirk Currie Brazos putter, nice milling, and I found a weight kit on ebay that I can adjust from light (345) up to heavy( 370 ish). Trying out a super stroke ulta slim splash in lime green, so far I dig it.
Total investment into the putter including grip and weights is under $30 haha.

Bag is a Sun Mountain Swift X with a Misfits patch that I painstakingly sew on by hand, but it looks sick.

DUDE!  This is by far your best setup!  Loving the logo on the ball pocket.. Great stuff Mark.. Hope you're playing well.  This year is going to be crazy for me, but all of us have to get a round in (me, you, Matt, Tim).

How do you like the swift x? Do you have any issues with the clubs getting tangled up when you carry a full set?

I've been playing hit or miss, but that's fine. I made the mistake of taping my swing and now I'm in my own head thinking I need a complete overhaul haha.

I really like the swift, it's so darn light, so if you walk the think is money. Interestingly enough, I have less tangle issues with the swift than I did with the microlite. I walk 99% of the time these days, I find I get less club chatter as well. The grip on the putter makes the top well a little tight, but that's it.

Tai, how's the engagement coming along? Did you guys set a date?

Aitch, how's your daughter? Stella is growing so much, it's insane! She smiles and laughs so much, so awesome!
