I've gotten back into competitive golf and I'm happy to report that I'm still able to compete with the young guns. I'm not winning but I'm finishing and winning gift certificates.

Problem>>>After you have dozens of balls, gloves, new pairs of shoes, new laser, etc. what else do you get?!?! I love my bag right now so I don't need any clubs. Sooooo, what cool things have you picked up in your bag?

Sharpies in almost every color made.  I think it's called a FrogTog towel to help beat the heat.  Last thing is a picture of my kid to keep happy on the course.

I have a lucky rock that I found somewhere.  (just a cool, smooth river rock that seemed out of place where I found it).  Also, my daughter's pink Precept Paula Creamer ball.  Just makes me smile a little when I see it.

O.K., I win this.

A plastic ear that my wife gave me for Christmas nearly 20 years ago.

This due to the fact that on the second hole of a tournament round an errant 3 wood by one of my fellow competitors hit me flush on the side of the head from about 40 yds. away, tearing off the top part of my right ear. (Think Holyfield's ear after Tyson bit it as a visual comparison if you are old enough to remember that.)  I never lost consciousness but bled constantly and was dizzy the rest of the round (which I finished while holding a bloody towel to my head until it was my turn to play.)

After the round, we went to the ER; ultimately, I had plastic surgery on the ear to repair the damage, thus the plastic ear as a gift/reminder.

Do I win?

I have Popeye on my driver, a custom made angry bird on my 3 wood, a rhino on my 5 wood and a Gorilla on my putter.

The custom angry bird my gf made for me gets the most attention on the course. I like to push the button to make the angry bird sounds and throw it at people. It makes for a good gag.

I like those headcovers too. I have an Orioles headcover for my 3 wood because it didn't come with one. The Oriole one was rightfully on sale. The cover sucks as bad as the team and the club it's sitting on.

I usually carry around some chuck e cheese tokens and a bunch of different colored sharpies.
It makes sitting and waiting for people a bit more fun.

Might sound weird but i work grounds at a course an i mow greens and before mowing i walk the green to clear up divots and pick up rocks from traps, and i usually find some crazy rocks that i keep and toss in my bag, I think they help me on the greens because i take care of the green and it takes care of me.

I have a little Hello Kitty plush that my daughter has clipped onto my bag. It's got a zipper on top of its head, and I use that compartment to put ball markers in.

That polar bear looks just like the one that knocked my garbage can over last week, eh?
Just west of Tarranna, in the snow belt.
What the heck is wrong with that beauty coin? Nothing I can see. And way easier on yer pocket than 8 mooseheads, eh?
