I was just pondering this last night. It would look like it would be a lot of trouble to do, but it seemslike a really cool idea to do. Maybe they could use it as a silly season event or something, in prime time: Man vs. Machine, Tiger vs. the Iron Byron.

I've had the chance to sit down with the guy who has taken the "Iron Byron" to the next level (www.golflabs.com). His machine simulates more than just Byron Nelsons swing, you can "program" it to provide late release, hooks, fades etc. One of his dreams is to put his golf robot up against a real player on a course. What he has trouble with is uneven lies, and the fact that his swing simulator (robot) is huge and heavy, and not prtable at all!

It's actually mounted to trailer (the one I saw), and it takes most of it up!
