People have been wanting to hear results.  In the last 10 rounds my fairways have increased by 20%.  I use a golf app on my iPhone 4 called Golfshot that tracks all this stuff.  Also sense I'm hitting more fairways I'm closer to the green and my GIR's are up 16%

The single biggest difference I believe is for me most shots just feel very solid.  Even when I hit it a little towards the toe which is my usual miss on the face.  And for my game (In my head) the better I am off the tee the better I will play, PERIOD!

I haven't yet but I'm going to put one in my 3 wood that I have a SAGA 70X flex in.

I look forward to hearing how others are doing once they get theirs installed  What to see how it affects their game....

Thanks for posting the fitting shart.  Harrison recommends to go stiffer if you think you are btween flexes.  Unlike shafts, the insert will fit better if a bit too stiff as opposed to a bit to weak.

I post to much.  I tend to do that in the threads I start.  I resently was asking questions about shoes and did the same thing.  OCD golfer here that has had the last 5 days off and golfed with the new toy (Shotmaker) and wanted to be the first to post about it.  By the way fried Spam swell good but doesn't taste so good!

So is it easy enough to install yourself?  I watched the videos and it seemed easy...but then it talks about how easy it breaks and drilling the grip and need some type of other grip tool.

I had an interesting session with the fitter's Eclipse. His is 45" finished length, tipped about 1/4 inch and the 65gm S. He had the E Shotmaker inside it and the head was a glue VR Tour 10.5.

The Eclipse is a very smooth shaft, easy to load and can crank it without going berzerk on the draw factor. The thing that stuck in my mind is that on the easy peesy smooth swing, the trajectory was higher, much like a YS-6+ without the shotmaker in the same head and finished length. When I crank it more, it was a lower flight and again, very decent. It did feel hot at contact and you can feel how steady the shotmaker made the shaft felt at impact. I really liked the feel of it and the graphics is pretty awesome - white shaft, white R11 head - doesn't get better than that! Very impressed so I ordered one. I was thinking about the 60 stiff and tipped a full inch and he immediately said that would lover the kick point and after more discussion, we felt a regular X flex was better for my swing.

Funny enough, the Ping rep was there and my fitter mentioned that I could hit any shaft and any flex to which I said - "yeah, try telling that to my G15 7.5 with the .350 Fubuki, that is a stout MF". Then I slipped in the question as to whether Ping is going to release the G20 in the 7.5 and the rep said the "G20 is a lower spin head than the G15 and based on that, he doubts it will go to 7.5 but may be an 8.5" so there you go. He said the G20 has the SFTec like the K15 but the weighting is in the middle while the K15 has it on the heel side.

Sorry, got deviated there...anyway, so the Eclipse is a pretty darn good shaft and I'll see how it behaves in the R11 with the F shotmaker. Hopefully it will be ready next week. It's short at 45" finished length as versus 46.5" in my Ahina, can't wait.

Sorry you think that.  I'll try to re-frame from responding BUT it keep prompting me on my iPhone.  I get tried of reading thread after thread about why only players play blades and hacks play cast.  Or what shaft are you trying this week in your R11.  I didn't want it to smell like spam.  Good thing is I have to sleep at some time tonight! jk.

I think I'll start a thread about the Golfshot: GPS iPhone 4 app I can't put down.  I'm working with it right now and I'm at my home not even on the course.  Now that is clearly OCD....

I would talk to Cody at Harrison first before ordering.  I just looked that shaft up and it is a .350 diameter.  I think it will be a few more weeks before they have the Shotmaker that works in a .350 shaft

I think a great test would be to install it into a stock shaft. I have a R9 Fujikura Motore 65 "R" flex here somewhere. If the new Graphite Design G seres shaft i'm testing doesn't work out. I see the Mugan Black in the near future. The Shotmaker is getting ordered for sure. I just hope all the guys i build clubs for doesn't pick up on it yet.

Try this fitting chart I found:

It's legit.  A full hour last year for a driver fitting, and my avg SS was 122.  I talked directly to Cody at Harrison, gave him all the stats from the fitting and he suggested I go with the "G".  I have three different shafts I plan on trying this in.  A SAGA X70 in a 9015d, a Mugen X90 in a 9015d, and the stock Matrix 70-X in a 9015d.  I'll post up results when it gets here in a few days, and I've had a chance to play with it.

To me, this sounds like cheating.  No, I'm not calling anyone a "cheater"...but the results mentioned are way too drastic- there is no way this thing will remain approved by the USGA.

They said it's 4 g and the grip lock is 5 g on the website.  The griplock is needed to conform and make it not change the SW.  Without the griplock it will be 1 SW point higher.

Only problem with the guy on Ebay is that they ship UPS which is balls slow from cali to FL.  I have a 4 day weekend with tons of golf planned and it wont come until tuesday at the earliest. No options for faster shipping.

No harm, no foul.....I get that all the time.....Now, my shotmaker should have shipped directly from Harrison yesterday, but there was an error in the address.  Great customer service on Harrison's end as they made repeated attempts via email to contact me before they closed so it would have shipped yesterday.  Unfortunately I didn't get the emails until last night at 10 PM central.  It shipped out first thing this morning.

Mine shipped yesterday.  I also went with the G flex.  Really interested to see how this performs in my Oban which is already a nice shaft.  I currently have a nunchuk in my 910 D3.
