Yasaku Miyazato had 2 hole in 1's on his card today

Truely amazing, the only thing I've heard similar to that was 3 guys all getting a hole in 1 the same round, but thats likely a hoax and hard to believe. But wow, I wouldint know how to handle myself after getting two hole in 1's in a round.

Read the below, copied straight from the european tour website:

"John Hudson's name became known throughout the world of golf in just 30 minutes.
On June 11, 1971, in the second round of the Martini International at Royal Norwich, he followed a
hole-in-one at the 195-yards 11th with another ace at the 314-yards 12th - five under par of two holes!
John eventually finished tied ninth and earned £160 from the tournament’s total prize fund of £7,000."

This guy is the old pro at my local gc and as far as I'm aware is the only person ever to do achieve back
to back hole in ones in tournament golf!! I think he got an extra £100 for those hole in ones!!
And considering the equipment he would have been using back then, not bad going!?

I'm a once or twice every 2 week golfer and shoot anywhere from 75 to 105. Basically, I suck.
Last time out I teed off by myself trying to catch a group ahead of me. Lost sight of my tee shot on the 167yd 2nd - started off pretty darn good and heard it hit the green. Couldn't find it anywhere - saw a ball mark about 5 yards straight behind the pin - could it be? - looked in the cup and there it was! Asked the 2some teeing off on 3 if they saw it - of course they didn't see it either! SUX. Anyway, caught up to them and struggled to shoot 45 on the front - even with the ace! Played just as badly on the back. Until 17 - hit a wedge to the back of the 120yd par 3 - ball backed up to within 3 inches of the cup! Thought I was going to have a heart attack - and - I think the guys I was playing with were finally starting to believe I wasn't BSin' em about the ace. Anyway, had to settle for a 90, only one hole-in-one that day and an un-attested one at that. Could have been worse... and of course, there's always next time...

That's what sucks about me being a solo golfer. I'm starting to get better, developing a solid, repeatable swing I can rely on. If I'm every good/lucky enough to get an ace, it'll probably be when I'm out there alone, at 6:30 in the morning. D'oh!

Does it still count as a hole in one. I guess you could say your witness was God. That is my fear about playing solo as well.
