Ecco's but for the money ($90) the FJ look alright, though they probably would have more appeal if they were spikeless.

Could also live with the Cardiffs.

I think Nike killed the Anthem making it with a synthetic upper. They could have had a real hit if it was leather like those listed above. They had Freddy in them, then he jumped as soon as the Ecco's came out.

Someone else made the comment in another thread, its a shame they didn't make them (street shoes) with a darker coloured mid-sole for the darker coloured shoes (ie. dark grey or black midsoles for brown, black, navy shoes)

Hard to vote on "my favorite" since I only own the Eccos. I don't care for the FJ since they have spikes. The Ashworth's are a definite knock-off of the Eccos and I believe about $25 less.
I would try the Ashworhts if given the opportunity.

I wear my Eccos a lot. Very comfortable and no slippage ever.

I'd hop on the Ecco's and/or the Ashworth, but they don't seem to come in 'Wide' sizes. Not really a fan of the FJ.

FJ's look stupid to me... especially the spikes on the bottom.  -1 for those kicks.

I personally like the look of the Ashworth Cardifs the best, but for comfort Ecco will always win out.

Only one's I've tried are the Ecco's. And they're the only one's I will try. I bought a pair and wore them for 2 rounds. Then went out and bought 2 more pairs. Most comfortable golf shoe I've ever worn. And I own other Ecco's.

And to my pleasant surprise the traction has been great. Play mostly early mornings with dew on the ground.

footjoys are comfy from trying them on but that white toe is horrible looking. they look cheap but actually come with a really nice insole.

Got to go with True's since they are the only ones wide enough for my feet.  Otherwise I would be all over the Ecco's or Ashworth.

I wish the Cardiffs would come in soles (the white part) that were the same color as the shoe.  I could wear them to work if the looked just a little more business casual and a little less hip.

You should add Kikkors to this list, the best of the "street shoe" group, IMO.

Ecco gets my vote, as they just look "cooler". Too bad it's so expensive! (maybe I'll buy a pair if they ever reach the $100 price range... here's me crossing my fingers for that day).

I prefer spikes and like the look of the All White FJs with shorts when I'm not wearing slacks.

I wear the Ecco, but I must admit that I haven't tried the others.  I think they all look pretty good, particularly with the more casual clothing that is being worn on golf courses today.

The Shwoths look alright, but too much a copy of the Street Premieres.
Eccos are top notch.

I have the Ecco's they are as advertised very comfy and good traction for no spikes.  The Ashworths are obviously knockoffs in terms of looks, however the real benefit to the Eccos is the way they are made in terms of durability and support for your back, feet and posture.  I highly doubt the Ashworths are made even close to the same standards.  For someone who has owned several pairs of Ecco dress and casual shoes through the years no shoe I have ever tried is similar.

Remember guys ashworth is owned by adidas now.  Maybe this is adidas's run at a street shoe while keeping their main brand image professional.

I wouldn't count out these ashworths out for comfort as my adipures are pretty cozy.

I've had all three pairs and the winner for me right now are the FJ.  They clean up easy and don't look beat to hell after wearing them 4-5 times (like my 360 LTDs did), and the waterproof sure is a positive.  No slippage due to the spikes (replaced spikes with some Black Widows and are every bit as solid on the ground as any other Adidas/Fj/Nike I've worn).

I just got the Ashworths but have not had a chance to play in them yet (to be fixed tomorrow) and I can follow up then.

As for the Ecco's, I thought they were expensive (while looking very cool mind you) and the waterproofing was a huge  minus in my book.  They felt fine but were a little odd to fit in my opinion and when you compare that with the price they just weren't worth it to me.

Overall, very happy with the FJ's and I think the Ashworths will be more of a golf shoe that looks like a street shoe while the Eccos are street shoes that you can play golf in.

As a side note, had 2 pairs of the TRUEs as well, and while comfortable I couldn't get a good fit for me to save my life...

Ding, ding, ding, ding, ding.....we have a winner. I have both and the "Shworths" are surprisingly comfy too.

i tried on the eccos and the FJ, fully expecting to buy the eccos, but the FJ shoes were by far more comfortable and the fit was better...the eccos felt cheap, the fit was off and they didn't seem stable (not flaming the brand either -- i have several pair of ecco golf shoes right now that i love, but the street version just didn't beat out the FJ)
