Just got these in an email from Delilah! Can't believe how fast her work was for something like this.  Will be watching for the postman intensely this week.

Can someone that has received permission from a University tell me about how long this process took, and WHO you sent the email to? Did you just state it was for a personal putter cover? I realize it depends on the University (Arizona State fore me), just wondering if I should expect a week or a few months.

Sent the Trademark Licensing Director an email asking for approval which in my experience took only a could of hours to get written approval for 2 covers to be for personal use.  Pretty smooth experience for myself.

I filled out a form for what I wanted my head cover to be and waited a week and a half and sent her an email. It has been another two weeks and I still have not heard back from her.

This happened to someone else, their email was sent to her spam folder so she never got it. Your best bet is to give her a call or contact her on facebook.

I got a cover from her about 2 weeks ago. It was a few days before I heard from her, and I contacted her several different ways.

Here is the response I got


"Actually, the best way is to use the order form on the website. (Which is the
ClubCovers@girlygolfer.com. ) By using the order form and putting as much
contact info as possible is best.  Using the order form will also send an
automatic email response stating it is currently taking 3-4 weeks for me to
create designs proofs.

I'm working as fast as I can.  I've had to cut back on my hours from 16 to 10-12
hours a day. The problem is there are so many request from people that aren't
sure what they want and then they make several changes. Which I'm happy to do,
it just slows things for others. I also have so many that have me create a
design proof and then I don't get a reply back. I may have to start charging
a fee before i do a design proof and then apply the fee toward the cover once
the cover is ordered. I think it will weed out those that are "just looking"
from those that are wanting one now. What do you think about that?"

Interesting. I like her idea of charging for the proof. Many people probably want to see their design drawn up instead of trying to draw it up or use a graphics program themselves.

I told her charging a non-refundable fee per proof would be a great idea, and that I would have no problem doing so if needed. That would eliminate the tire kickers.

I prepared the proof myself and never heard a thing despite multiple follow-ups.  While the covers look great and those that actually got a response are obviously satisfied, my honest feedback is that it is a terrible business plan to use the excuse that you ignore people because you are too busy. I'd love to have one but will not do business with people who ignore inquiries.

found an old email I had from Delila. I used the email address and sent her an email. She replied with in 30 minutes.

Anyone know what Delila's actual turn around time is right now? I know her email says 3-4 weeks for proof, but just wanted to see if any had gone through the process recently.

I got mine a week after contacting her. However, mine was easy for her to do and she didn't need to make any changes. That always helps with turnaround time.

I bought a cover from her over a year ago and I noticed she made some changes to the covers. They are a little smaller, which I like, and the magnets are much stronger.

I have noticed some changes to my designs a bit later on as well... changes done after the final proofs that were not discussed.  some kanji characters are not correct on one set of covers (missing a small stroke, prob just an error, not a real big deal) and my rife now has a 90 degree lie angle... not real happy w the latter.  

but quality is improving with each order... early versions had weak velcro and weak magnets, so weak that the covers fall off if your putter is short and hits the top cuff of your bag (temporarily lost mine a few times).  the magnets now are def strong, maybe too strong, as they stick firmly to steel shafts

The one I ordered from her a few months ago, the magnets are supper strong. LIke mentioned above, it sticks to shafts and anything else near it that it is metal.

Getting a custom putter cover from Delila at girlygolfer.com. My high school golf team won state this year so we decided to get a commemorative putter cover. Ive heard nothing but good things about Delila. I contacted Delila a few weeks ago about the cover. It took a while for her to get back with me but I assume she is very busy. Once I sent her my design, she had all of the proofs done within a week. She was very apologetic about the wait and was very responsive once the design process had started. I approved the design and sent the payment. Covers should be coming in within the next few weeks. I'll post pics of the actual covers when they arrive.

Great looking cover and congrats on winning states.

When I ordered my cover she did state that she has been very busy and had to cut back her hours because she was working 14 hour days.
