Many years ago, I know Nike produced Air Jordan golf shoes that were widely available to the public.

I recently heard that Nike still produces "Air Jordan Golf" items, but they are only available upon request to Michael Jordan, Nike sponsored Athletes, and Nike Executives.  As a result, there is a huge grey market for "Air Jordan Golf" items.  Has anyone heard of this or know anything about it?

The story I heard had an Air Jordan players golf towel selling for $350 on Ebay with mulitple bidders.  I find it hard to believe that is true.

it happens all the time.

MJ gets the Dri Fit tour glove made with the Jumpman logo.

on Nike Golf's Twitter page, they posted a picture of his driver face that has the Jumpman logo laser etched into it.

other Nike sponsored/affiliated players and celebs are seen with Jumpman logos on their Nike gear all the time.

i've even seen a few Tiger Woods polos with Jumpman logos on the chest in place of the Swoosh.

here's MJ wearing Tiger's 2011 US Open Sunday shirt.

I remember the Nike Air Jordan Par 23's. They came out like 10 years ago.

You are right.   I see Nike polos and hats with the Air Jordan symbol all the time.    My understanding is the custom stuff will have the logo and "golf" on it, or it will say "Jordan Golf".  Any golf equipment with the logo is supposedly custom as well.

I will email Nike and see if I can get some clarification.  I will post the response.

Thanks.  - Goodfella

can you imagine the market for jordan golf gear? I think that there are many, many golfers out there who would rock jumpman gear all over the course.

I would like to see Jordan Brand pick up one or two golfers on tour. Kind of like what Jordan Brand did with a few players in the NFL and MLB.

I have a (used) Air Jordan golf ball that I found while searching for my ball on one of the resort courses in Orlando (I think it was the Ritz). My caddy claimed that Nike made them only for Jordan, and that he had been there a few days earlier when he must have lost the ball.

It is definitely not a ball that I've ever seen on the market - marked on one side with the Jordan icon, and on the other with a ONE TW.

here's a pic of me warming up in my custom spiked Air Jordan 3. I also picked up a pair of Jordan batting gloves and its thin enough to play golf with.

Posted Image

here's a good look at the bottom. It's based from the football cleats, but the spikes are modified Black Widow spikes.

So should we expect Spike Lee.....errrr......Mars Blackmon to stand on Jordan's shoulders attempting to hype these?

I would venture to guess that Nike Golf would want you to believe going low for 18 is not "all about the shoes" a la Mars Blackmon.

Yes sir. I actually have to trim off the quicklok treads off the spikes and drill it for the cap screws that fit the threads in the shoes. It worked really well as the shoes are also very comfortable.

The "Par23" shoes were awesome...I think I was about 13 or 14 years old when they came out and I loved them. I bought both the black and white shoes.

Personally, I think if the Jordan brand came out with some more golf shoes or a bag they would be sold out within a week or so. There are wayyy to many Jordan heads out there that play golf and I'm one of them. :))

I'd be all over Jordan golf stuff, especially headcovers and bags. However I suspect that Nike would be concerned about cannibalizing their TW stuff.

Me 2. I have the white ones and the black ones. They just sit in my closet. Didn't think they were very comfy, but they sure look good.

I'm surprised MJ hasn't signed a pro golfer to become a Jordan Brand athlete already. Those custom AJ3 white cements?! NICE! :ok:

Now imagine if Jordan Brand made an Air Jordan XI golf shoe? :shok:
