Any pics of the newest MP, rumored to be the MP-69????

It looks pretty much the same, except with a slightly deeper scallop.

I was informed by my supplier, who has been shown the MP69 by the rep, that it looks something like this.

Imagine this.


now make the scallop mark slightly deeper, which looks something like this.





Not sure if I got that right, but that's the way it was described to me.

And the name is MP69, guess that's pretty much confirmed.

Time for Mizzy to start using 7's now such as MP 70, 71 etc.  I wouldn't purchase the MP69's for all the razzing I'd get for it.

it might be, probably be more forgiving as well. Id buy them, a mix of mp-32 and mp-68 sounds amazing to m, although I dont like the 67 irons

I'd really be surprise if they don't extend the "diamond muscle" technology into a muscleback...seems like their last few series carried a similar technology across iron series...cut-muscle was probably the most used...

i really like my blades to look sleek and smooth - like the mp - 33s or the mp -14s

i hated how the mp-32s looked...

The 68's are gonna be a tough iron to improve on. I will certainly look out for the new blades but at this point I am very happy with my MP68/63 combo set.

I can confirm that the next line carry the 59/69 badging.  I actually know someone who has a set of heads only for both the 59/69 (3-PW) as well as the 712 lines of CB/MB.

I played the titty 690's... I think the number/name will be just fine.

I'm guessing that the mp 59's will continue the the 58's trend with the insert?

Just curious, are the 58's and the 63's aimed at different crowds? I thought they were for pretty much the same crowd, can someone enlighten me? It seems like mizuno always has two solid player's cbs in the lines

Their were pics of counterfeit 63 and 53's that were around a month or so before Mizuno released pics. They ended up being spot on.

It's becoming more common that the counterfeiters are getting clubs on the market before spy pics have even been released.

I'm interested to see what they will do with the 59's.

These 69's look like they are trying to do more of a forgiving blade.

i agree, it looks like  they took a picture of mp-33 added some mp-68 tweaks and put some weird cut slot in it. No way would a blade have that hallowed part

I imported them into photoshop and another GRAPHIC ARTS PROGRAM I have access to and, I cant tell 100% if these are fake or the real deal. Someone knew a little to cover there tracks if they are fake. I am personally leaning twards fake because, It does not look like a logical progression to me from the last irons released but, I could easily be wrong. Just thought I would throw my opinion out there

now knowing THAT - i have to ask THIS

why would anyone go through the trouble of doing all that ?

unless these pix are from ebay and someone is trying to scam someone...

BUT with that being said...

i think my mp 33s will be in the bag for another couple years until the mp 70s come out...

If that pic is real, it's not that different than the 68 at all. I hit my 68's pretty high, can't imagine those.

Whether photoshopped or not, the pic does incorporate two changes I was expecting to see.

1.  Running bird logo moved from the sole to the back of the blade.  This is a good thing, less dirt collection to clean out of the sole.

2.  360 sole grind similar to the 53s and 63s.  At least it looks that way.
