VERY comfortable shoe. It is very comfortable to walk in, and you dont have to break them in. A very nice golf shoe that is comfortable to walk in, or ride if you prefer.

My shoe as well. Bought it because it fit my (weirdly shaped) feet. (FootJoy has a ton of different 'lasts')

Comfortable out of the box and has stayed that way so far. Good price on sale.

My only complaint is that the toe softspikes are already worn down. Seemed a little premature.

I bought these shoes last Xmas, loved them, mot comfortable shoe I have owned. I walk 70% of the time, these plus dri-fit socks are really comfortable.

Writing this review after almost 4 mths of usage.

Average six times a month usage.

Replaced with Stinger spikes. Found it hard to find the original spikes from Footjoy.

After replacing worn out spikes to Stinger. Felt better grip with stinger's spikes. But have to compromise with the comfort. Could geel the spikes on my soles.

Condition and shape of shoes still holds well.

Have worn these the past several years and had a few pair. Great compromise between comfort/athletic feel while still maintaining a somewhat traditional look. They come in wide and extra wide which is a requirement for me.

I had a pair of them that I wore for about 8 months. At the time I was playing alot of golf (about 4 rounds per week) and walking at least half of those. Within that 8 month time frame, the fiber looking section in the middle of the sole started coming off. When I finally quit wearing them, I had 3 spikes left on one shoe, and 2 on the other. The insert that the spikes thread into actually came out of the rest, so I had no way to attach the spikes. I swore I would never buy another pair of them. after trying 3 or 4 different brand and style shoes, I could not find anything anywhere near as comfortable as these. I bit the bullet and bought another pair. Hopefully, these will outlast the first pair.

I was trying on closeout shoes and wearing around a pair of Ecco Hydromax shoes that were on closeout for $120. Comfy I thought but felt like the soles were very stiff and hard under the feet. I started looking at the full-price shoes on the rack and picked up a pair of shoes the same color as the Eccos I was interested in. Footjoy Contour, $99 brand new? I asked to try a set on. The instant I put my foot in the shoe it was love. I put both shoes on, walked ten steps, and told the woman who was helping me, "SOLD!" I was in love at first step with these shoes. They fit my feet like a glove... a glove for your foot. So much softer underfoot than the Eccos, almost springy or spongy; They put a spring in my step. And they are very stable through the practice swings I took wearing them.

There may be a honeymoon period involved but these shoes are so comfortable right out of the box I imagine they can only get more comfortable from here.
