Great WITB. I'm looking forward to the review of the irons. You said that the irons were built to the same specs, could you please discuss how they play differently in your review? Could you also discuss the different designs and how they affect the way they play?

Really like the muscle.  Seems almost as if extra is taken out toward the heel.  Is that to allow the toe to turn over faster?

Thanks guys. I will write up a comparison of the two when i return from vacation. I played nine with the new st today. As I had hoped, they play very similar to my PMB models that I have been playing. If there was any real noticeable difference it was the flight of the short irons. for some reason the bulletbacks seemed to launch a bit lower than my double muscles. it was a pretty cool flight as they would stop on a string into the green. the muscle design should move more weight higher in the head so it makes sense. I am pretty excited as there was little to know getting used to the yardages etc to this new set when compared to my first set.

Got any pictures of the raw wedges after they've had a chance to rust?  My TD wedge order was placed today and I also went with raw :)

Thaddy,

Here are a few I snapped from a few weeks ago. They are at my club or I would snap a few more. they have turned considerably and the rust is pretty caked into the metal(think old 588 rtgs).

Looks great, just like a wedge should look.  Also, is that the bead blasted finish?

Thanks. took it out today for a spin.

It has many different tones. its called Blue torched... I dont know if that is just their version of a blue oil finish but it is really dark and very cool looking in person. The pics are tough to try and do it any justice but heres another try.

It's blue torched on DASS. I am pretty sure you can get this finish done on any DASS putter through the studio. The model is a customized 3step JAM
