Jhonattan Vegas won the Bob Hope this year gaming these in his woods. Here is some info...

Per Nventix the NUNCHUK produces a single flex  design for drivers, fairway woods and hybrids that can be used by  professionals and amateurs, men and women, juniors and seniors. "When  you've got a NUNCHUK in your bag, you're playing exactly what the pros  play," McCall added.

The Nunchuk  unique Tri-Zonal Stabilit technology  enables golfers all abilities to more consistently deliver LONG &  ACCURATE driver, fairway wood and hybrid shots. Golfers of all ages and  swing speeds who play the Nunchuk will see their shot dispersion narrow  AND their spin rate reduced - thus increasing both accuracy and  distance.

Here is more tech info on the site...

Do you have plans for a test?  I'm wondering about a little feedback and how this shaft performs for the common mans swing speed. Thanks for the pics!!

I've tried looking at the website, but I thought I was looking at an infomercial.  Can someone please explain to me the concept of single flex (I know it means one flex) and how it works?

Thanks for any help, I'm a big UST fan and the fact that they're producing it tells me its a quality product, I just want to know why.

From what I can surmise from the information on the website is that the shaft basically doesn't flex at all in the tradition sense.  It seems like it would feel terrible if that were the case but I won't knock it since I haven't tried it.

How can the same shaft work for male and female players?

The reason the same shaft can work for players of all abilities and sexes, is due to the inherited design and premise of the invention. The intent of the shaft is to not “kick” the head of the club at the ball through impact. Rather, it’s designed to keep the head of the club, the shaft, and the player’s hands all in a straight line configuration through the ball. The feeling the golfer receives is that of great stability. More importantly, however, is the feedback the shaft offers the golfer is critically important. The golfer no longer has to make compensations in their swing to correct inadequacies caused by equipment.

Hit one on a trackman with the R 11 head on it.  I think the shaft weight was 106g but I could be wrong on that.

It was like swinging a hockey stick - very different, and it launched knuckle balls.  One went 288 yards with 1813 rpm spin and  45 yards of roll.  Personally I didn't like the feel - it was very heavy.

I can see why a large dude like Vegas would use it though.

Different Tipping and cutting instructions. However, one flex reminds me of callaway and we all remember how good those things were!

Apparently there are no trimmings/tipping on these shafts....put the shaft in the head .....then cut it to pref. length at the butt section. That is it.
Use the shim to fit the shaft to a different dia. hosel.
Check out their wesbsite.
There was also a review made on WRX right after the 2011 PGA show

At 300+ frequency and over 100g in weight my first thought is all they did was build a heavy XXX shaft and called it one flex. In the video the XX shaft flexed significantly less than the first shaft in the video so when you build a shaft thats heftier and even stiffer than a XX then of course you'd expect there to be less flex. Johnny Vegas can swing in the 120mph range. Show us a video of him swinging that shaft and I'd bet that there will be flex similar to the shafts earlier in the video. Take the Nunchuck challenge? So far I'm a skeptic of there being any real "New" tech in this shaft. I'd have to test one out to really know if it's the real deal or not. Until then I'll hold onto my $259

I can certainly see what your reaction is based on.  However, because of the way the shaft flexes (or rather, doesn't flex), different flexes become unnecessary. It is designed to not droop; and to flex in a straight line.  I do not use one, and have no connection with the company, but the idea is very intriguing.  I know a couple people who got to try them at the PGA show were VERY impressed (not swinging 120+ either).  You should do a little more digging.

I know Ari is playing these in all of his woods, and the man has access to EVERYTHING.  That, to me, says they have to be good.

Maybe you should read a little more about it.  They didn't make the shaft to fit one person but to fit everyone.  Jrs, women, Slow swinger, Hard swinger, Smooth transition, quick transition, etc...  If you read the pga show 2011 thread, this shaft is one of the most interesting new stuff out there.  Seems to do exactly what it is supposed to.  The point isn't that it is working for Johnny Vegas, the point is that it did work for a wide range of golfers who tried it.  And just like anything else out there, it also didn't work some others.  Never tried it myself, but did READ about it...

Its funny about these shafts....I have put four of them in for customers...Feedback has been "ok"...but the funny thing about it is this..I put on in for a local pro and he didnt like it, said it felt terrible and heavy, his clubhead speed was around 104-106...put it in a R11 and numbers where not to bad, low spin and medium launch...He tried it for a couple of weeks and sold the shaft to one of his members that had around 82-84 clubhead speed, He fell in love with it and actually picked up 5-10 yards....What I have found so far, very counter-balanced shaft, heavy and hard feeling....Seems like the couple of custmers that I put them in for loved the speeder 757 in the day.
