Just sold a Ping Hoofer 2 when I upgraded to the Hoofer C-1.  Still have an old Ping L8+  and a Ping cart bag.  My bags stay in a finished basement so they don't wear out too quickly.  Add 4 kids to the mix and I may not play as often as some.  In Iowa our typical season lasts ~ 8 months at best.

I have only had Ping bags for the last ~ 20 years and have not had a single complaint on any of them.

Every 2-3 years. Basically when the old one breaks. Usually it is the legs that go. I play about 50-60 rounds year and walk 95% or more. I don't care if it gets dirty or a little frayed as long as it stll works.

Every year or two.

Basically I had a stand bag a few years ago, got sick of it and got a staff bag with a pull cart. Now I feel like a granddad using that so I went back to the stand bag (and bought a new one, of course). In a couple of years time i might be back to the pull cart with a new bag. Who knows?

My bags last about 2 years. I use a Titleist carry bag and the the top cuff starts to fray from pulling clubs out of the bag. When the top cuff wears through, I get a new bag.

I'm a bag 'ho.  I end up buying at least two every year and sell the old ones on the BST.  I have a fascination with Titleist stand bags, and even though I hate the 6-way opening on the lightweight model, I keep buying them.  I have two of the exact same ones, both purchased within the past five months.  I have problems...

I bought a cool custom Hoofer that is orange and white from Ebay a year ago and will use it again this year. Normally I buy one a year but backed down to 1 every 2 years.

I got my Ping Latitude a couple of years ago, and I normally change it up every 2 years.  At this point though I see no need to change, my bag has everything I need; but if I see something that really catches my eye, then I'll get it.

Once the bag needs repair it's time to switch, it used to be the lining on the inside of the dividers that would wear to the point of changing but now with all the new manufacturing it seems like they last a lot longer than they used to!

Hardly ever. In fact, I think I've only ever owned five.  The Golden Bear bag from my first ever set, a Callaway stand, a Titeist carry bag, a Ping caddy bag (sorry - totally forget what models they were... hoofer?), and a Callaway staff bag.

The Titleist and Ping bags were actually bought through the caddy program at Pebble Beach from my summers working there, and at some point I had two Ping bags (I believe they were sold to us for $50... with the Pebble Beach logo on the side).  I don't seem to put much wear on them since I mostly ride or use a push cart.  For as much as I love golf 'toys', I'd much rather spend the money on playing.

I get the itch a lot, but I have to fight it.  Usually its only a matter of seeing a new color pattern that I like.

I feel like its an addiction similar to my wife and buying new purses!

2 years. My current H2No is on 2.5 and it has a couple of small rips, the white is fading to yellow, and the legs catch on each other constantly. Time for a new one. I think getting the bag in and out of my small trunk is hardest on the bag

Alright, it is like these threads cause a reaction.  Just picked up a Ping Traverse in black for my daily bag.  The Hoofer C-1 will sit in the wings for the walking days however it just did not have the room I wanted and I think the Traverse will be easier to access on my ClicGear 3.0.

Last bag for the year (or two or thee) I hope.

Whenever I find a bag that is noticeably better than my current bag.  I don't buy bags very often - I usually carry a Titleist sunday bag.  Very happy with my new Sun Mountain Four-5 that I bought in January and have been carrying during the rainy months. Posted Image

Every 2-3 years, or when I find a pretty bag.

Actually I play with this one:

Normally when my current one falls to bits. I mean really falls to bits. I have used old shafts when the legs on the stand have broken, even left the grip on the end. I play around 100-120 rounds a year and I carry 99.9% of the time. A bag is a bag to me, I don't care about them, only the tools inside it.

I have 7 total bags. I just got a team bag from my Junior College this past fall and I plan to use it for a long time.

I've been using a Ping Hoofer 2 since 2001 that probably has over 400 rounds on it.  The thing is indestructible.

usually every two years.

70- 80 18 hole rounds and 30- 40 nines that I jog in the evening.

I beat mine to death staying in shape.

I still use a Ping L8 plus bag, they are the best.

A true classic.
