Are you sure you aren't confusing with the e5?  The e6 is supposed to be one of Bridgestone's lowest spin balls off the driver.  The e5 has a urethane cover and will have more spin and short game control.

The salesman at Ed Watts shoved these into my arms... They feel good around the green, I hit it hit it with my sw from maybe 20-30 yards the other day and it had a high traj. but the one thing I noticed the most was the softness on that shot, maybe it was a once in a lifetime shot though... They say it doesn't have that much spin off of the driver but I beg to differ. Maybe its just my inconsistent driving game though. Not helped with the Fade/Slice... 4/5.

I've played the e-6+ and it does reduce driver sidespin.  Also comes off the putter real well (for me).  But I haven't played the e-6 that is out now replacing the e-6+.

Sorry. This spins crazy for me.  The ProV1x is supposed to be low spin too but I get a lot of Driver spin with it as well.
B330 is the only ball I truly feel comfortable with.

Surprisingly, as they claim, the ball does seem to go straighter off the face. I personally like them

so did these replace the e6? or the other way around? or are they both supposed to coexist in the market?

Felt like hitting a rock.  Big thumbs down for the E6, especially considering the price.

Hard, really?  I was playing around with the e6 at a short game practice faclity and the ball came off my face really soft.  In fact, it almost felt like I was hitting one of those 25 cent rubber "bouncy balls" that kids play with.

According to Bridgestone, the e6 is the softest multi-layer ball on the market right now.

A good, but not exceptional, mid priced ball.

This is my go to ball for the winter months here in the Northwest. Ball carries through the thick marine air very well.

Didnt think I'd like this ball. Was very surprised. Shot my lowest 9 hole score with it. In the middle of summer on hard greens. Shot 32, 4 under. Ball held hard greens pretty while for a "distance" ball. Played all summer with them.

I really enjoy playing the e6. I can tell I slice the ball a lot less of the tee compared to other balls.
