My SF 2.0 3 wood is absolutely incredible off the tee and surprisingly enough pretty easy to launch off the deck. The stock stiff shaft is a pretty solid performer as well.

just got off the bst a tp 5wd with a rip beta 70x.  easiest club i have ever hit, sits slightly open at address, and gets it up off the deck easily but not with a ballooning trajectory, just mid launch.  i like it better than my r11 tp 3 wood.

Late to the party here. Long story short, I was having driver issues, so on a lark I borrowed this 3-wood from a friend.

I'm absolutely killing it. I don't know if it sets up a little open, but my normal swing with my 4W has a bit of a draw, and the same swing with this club produces a straighter shot. That might also be due to the fact that this is a stiff and my 4W is a regular flex (my swing is probably about on the border of regular/stiff. . .low to mid 90's with a 3W, I guess), but I don't know.

I've played 54 holes with it so far, and had 4-5 range sessions with it. I'm absolutely, without a doubt, hitting it as far as my driver (12º Ping G15). That's based on observations at the range, and known locations on the courses I've played with it. Courses that I know intimately.

I hit drives last night of 265 and 270 marked and measured with GPS (one slightly uphill). I actually played the same side twice last night, and birdied both par 5's each round. I had almost identical spots in each time I played the side.  I went to google maps this morning, and estimated other drives over 280 on two strongly downhill holes.

I hit a drive 284 (measured) on Saturday that was 20 yards past my buddy who hit his driver. He and I are usually close in drives.  That was slightly down hill and definitely had a lot of roll, but I regularly out-drove all 3 of my companions all day that day (two guys weren't bombers, but they weren't short, either. One of them had 4 birdies that day.)

I'm not saying YOU will hit this further. I've had problems with my driver set up and swing for a while now, and you probably hit your driver better than I do. But I will say this. . .it is capable of producing a long, straight drive without too much spin if you hit it like I do.

I have used it exclusively for tee shots. I haven't practiced it off the deck, and my 4W is so good off the deck that I don't need the 3W there.

Anyway, I love this club, so I wanted to chime in here.
