This next generation offering from MRC is not just a re-badged Blueboard and is a definite upgrade. Everything about it is improved. It is still a mid-launch shaft has a more boring trajectory and is noticeably between a BB and a WB. It's reduced the spin from the BB as well. Again it falls between the BB and WB. It's definitely prettier as I think you have to see it in person to appreciate the artistry involved (if you're into that sort of thing) and last but not least, it feels smoother. I have never felt a shaft that was as silky in a driver or fairway wood. I'd recomend it to anyone looking for a mid-launch, low spin shaft.

Flightscope results from 4/30/11 with Kai'li 80-X @ 45" D8 in a 8.5 J33R 460 (low-spin head)with 2010 B'stone B330S.

SS  109.8
BS  164
SF: 1.49
Back Spin 2177
Side Spin +22
Launch V-12.1
Launch H 0.2R
Time 7.1
Height 108
Carry 277
Dist. 296

You could say I like the shaft.

MRC has introduced a real winner and please don't let someone tell you it's just dressed up BB because it's not.

Would you guys recommend the kaili or ahina....

Swing Speed 100-102
Tempo is fast
Driver Distance 250-260
Hcp 7

I have played the Aldila NV green 65 stiff for the past 6 seasons and looking to upgrade my clubs this year.  I bought the R11TP with fuji blur tp shaft and don't like the results (had the R7TP which was a great club), but I am due for an upgrade on the shaft.  Just want your guys opinions on this shaft/club change for me and if any of you guys have a kaili or ahina in the r11tp with good results, thanks!

How does this compare to the GD YS6+  that was one of the stock options in the 905? I love that one in my 905 and just recently upgraded to the 910 with this shaft. I haven't been able to get out with it yet with the 40 mph winds here in KC! I'm just hoping it's comparable.

Anyone have a direct comparison for me to look forward to?

I play the Diamana Kai'li 60 in my driver & Kai'li 70 in my 3 wood. I have the R11s 9* driver & the R11 T3 wood. These are great shafts, very smooth feel, mid launch & lower spin with very stable tip. The Kai'li shaft is probably better for the average tempo, as I found that my smoother swing produces better results. The Kai'li shaft plays simular to the Aldila RIP or closer to the original Diamana Whiteboard vs Blueboard in my opinion. The real Diamana Kai'li is much more shaft (tighter) than the GD YS6, the made for Titleist Kai'li 65 has been softened up to fit a wider range of players, still a good feeling OEM shaft as my friend has one in his 910D2.

Just bought a made exclusively for Titleist version 65-S off eBay for $35. Gonna try it out in my VRS. Based on what I've read here, I should not be disappointed.

I figured as much. I don't expect stock shafts to be real better than the real thing. But couple people said that the MFT is still a good shaft. We will see I guess!
