I bought the non tp version, the weight is there without the heavier shaft, I have only hit about a dozen times but I have noticed that toe hits still go long and straight, haven't hit the heel yet, my misses are usually on the toe.

Great hybrid, the best I've hit to date for replacing Fairway woods.  As for irons the adams pro black still has it.

I got mine from David gates golf. In a still Aldila VooDoo shaft, I was hitting this very pretty draw on their monitor thing on the mat. I went out the next week and topped my first ball. I didn't hit it well... until I was on the mat later that day for a lesson. The next day I played golf and hit maybe 4-5 shots with it maybe not even that much. 1 shot was GOOD, not great but good. Not a big fan. Maybe a regular flex would have been better, or maybe I need to tune it and I'll hit it better...

Im pretty happy with this club; solid out of the rough and as long as my previous rescue

the RIP 85 shaft has a good feel to it :good: although it does launch higher than what Im used too.

Hi - bought this club recently. 2 questions I am interested in peoples thoughts on - firstly the instructions for what each setting does is very poor so based on previous posts I guess we have to wait and see what TM put on their website - any further info would be appreciated. Secondly I am a bit dubious on the quality of the stock Aldila RIP shaft - there is no mention of this type of shaft on the Aldila site (not an exact match anyway) so I assume it it just made specifically for TM. You would have to assume that it is a big reputational risk for Aldila to put their name on poor quality stock shafts but hard to believe that it is the same quality as a fitted off the self Aldila shaft. I got the Aldila Proto 95 in my Rescue Mid and am debating whether it would be worthwhile switching this into the Rescue 11 but it is a significantly ligher shaft so not sure whether it would be a good fit. Any thoughts welcome.

I have been very reluctant to put a hybrid/rescue in the bag for some time. I just couldn't get over how they look at address. Upon discussing with my Club Pro, I demoed one, and immediately ordered it. I was truly blown away by the ease it takes to create a great shot with it. My love for this club grows every round I play. It is such a versatile club, I can hit it high, low, draw it, dead straight, off the tee, fairway, and rough. As my Club Pro told me, "It's like cheating". This club will be in the bag for a very long time. Oh, and I was very against the the "white", and I have also added the R11 3 wood, and am about to the order the Driver. I have the RIP shaft in the hybrid, which I was fitted for, love it. Went with the stock Blur shaft in the 3 wood, considering replacing it, and am going with the Project X in the Driver.

okay hands down the best hybrid I have ever owned.  I used to play the burner and even tried the burner 2.0 hybrid.  after i got my hands on r11 rescue, there was no going back.  Easy to launch for your full shot and it lands pretty soft.  It glides through the rough nicely.  Also easy to hit a punch shot.  this thing is straight as an arrow.  only drawback is the face finish as the black does show more wear.

just got mine about a week ago, had 1 round with it and then a range session. it'll take just a little getting used to since i haven't really had a nice hybrid in my bag for some time. i love how light it feels and how effortless it is when swinging.

I have the 21* as my #4 iron with the stock RIP 65 shaft, s-flex.

I use it mostly off the tee or for lay-up shots and usually get a fairly mid trajectory.  I may adjust it to 22* to see if I can get a little more height from it for longer par 3's.

So far, I really like it.

I have the 2 and 3 hybrids, they are good off the tee and decent of the deck.  Should of went with stiff instead of x.

Excellent club. 18 degree (moved to 17.5) with the RIP TP 85 gram shaft and its just a bullet.  Am stuck between getting a 21 deg and taking it to 22 deg or 23.5 and moving it down to 22.5 to take advantage of the shorter shaft. What lofts are we all playing ?

Had traded my Rescue 09 TP's for the 18 and 22...never got comfortable with these clubs....sliced almost every shot even after adjusting the settings...I am going back to my 09 TP's...had much better luck with them.
