Top 50 Jr Tour does, but I don't think there is one in Georgia.

Caddies are so much fun to have. Makes golf easier actually, somebody to kinda keep ya in it. I would actually allow caddies before I allowed range finders. Learn to walk off your yardages and do some math not that big of a deal.

Top 50 Jr. Tour. don't know if they are in GA, they have tourneys in Michigan, Arizona, Florida and a couple other states I can't remember.
As far as the need for a caddie, its a personal choice. From a parents perspective, I can't tell you where I've had more fun that looping for my 11 year old. Definitely special moments I'll never forget....
Good luck!

All of the US Kids Golf tournaments allow caddies. (they are mandatory for ages 8 and under) They have expanded the tour up to age 18.
My guy started playing on the USKG tour at age 5, and will be in his 7th year on tour. It's a great experience and teaches much more than golf when they start so young. For unknown reasons, some of the other tours ban caddies, even at a young age. In any case, good luck!
