[BEND OF THE RIVER GC]

Whenever we do our annual mad dash to South Carolina to enjoy 4 rounds (or more) of golf in 3 days during the cold winter in Ohio we always try to squeeze "one more round" in on the way back. This past year we, unfortunately, played a round at Timberlake Plantation. Although, it was winter, the conditions were TERRIBLE at best. Painted (Yes I did say painted) greens and no overseeding of the course like most courses do in SC for the winter. This course also appears to have some drainage problems, it was very wet all over...We were very disappointed with the conditions and will never play here again. We should have played LINRICK, 1/2 the price and a MUCH BETTER experience! Heck, I would ALMOST rather listen to a complete CD of Justin Timberlake rather than play here again..almost!
