These irons are great. I have a mixed set with 6-pw in MB and 3-5 in MC. These irons set up like a blade but have the forgiveness of a cavity. Long irons aren't my strength and with these my long iron game was instantly improved.

I ordered mine already. They look like a wonderful set of irons. I have hit the MB's and they feel like butter!

I initially  got #4-5 in CB, #6-7 in MC and #8-P in MB.

Have already replaced #4 & #5 with MC's because I really like the look of MC better.

That being said, I wish I could play the MB in #4-P.

I am a 16 handicap, I owne the R9 irons before I bought the 3-PW MC w/ KBS Tour shafts.  The irons are great.  I was able to gain distance and they are forgiving enough.  They look great.

This is a old thread but figured I would still post. I have been playing my MC's for a while now, I switched to these from a old set of Ping Zing 2's. I love the weighted feel and the easy of being able to keep the face correctly placed to prevent shanks off the hosel. Great Irons!

IMO Def best players Iron TM has had to offer since rac tp (loved the smoked finish). Unless rocketbladez tour are insanely better than regular, I would get a set before they are gone if you strictly have a crush on TMAG.
They are def an easy soft club to manage, and a fairly simple look.  I've had 2 sets, but I will say I have a set of MC's that will NEVER push my mp-64's aside. Again, my opinion...TaylorMade made a very nice forged iron, but there's nothing like a forged mizzy.
Review? They are great product from TM. They're a very nice iron, just hope TMAG does something like they did with the forged iron line again, MC, MB, and for some CB....thought they were on right track, but this only coming from someone who hasn't played rocketbladez tour yet, regular didn't do it for me.

So I got the Rocketbladez Tour Lefty clubs in yesterday.  I know have my set up of TP MC 4-PW and the same in the rbz Tour set.  I first hit my MC 4 Iron to check my distance at the range.  I was hitting pretty nice group withing about the size of a green at about 200 yards.  I thought that was nice, and its what Im used to.  I prolly hit about 20 balls, 5 were miss hits about and didnt come close to the grouping usually about 50 yards short or wide from the target.  Then I hit my rbz tour irons.  First few I didnt even hit well at all, ( didnt know that yet) so i thought I hated them, but they were still 20 yards short of my 200 yard mark.  Then I popped one good,....and it went about 40 yards past the 200 yard marker....?  I was shocked, I now knew what it felt like to hit one good.  Then I hit my 2nd good ball, and this ball launched higher, went past the 240 mark and landed soft....I didnt know whether to be happy or not, I didnt want the distance only the forgiveness I didnt think.  I will say the RBZ is much longer on well hit balls, the problem is I pull them a little inconsisitantly. My TP MC I can open up and hit them striaght almost dead on , and my RBZ want to naturally pull, but what you do get is the distance and the forgiveness.  The forgiveness...on any shot I miss hit, they were never chucks that went 40 yards, they are pretty much low hits and they still go 180 yards, and some even go the same distance almost exactly but they are just not launched.  I hit x100 shafts so i like heavy for a high swing speed so those with lower swing speeds may notice a little difference there.

A big thing though that upset me for my first day out, is i cant tell the difference between my 5 and 4 RBZ, where I can my TP MC,,,,rbz is too long.  I right away went to my 8 irons, my TP MC 8 iron is on the money with a little draw to about 150-160 yards, but my rbz still can go 180 which just doesnt make sense it could completely illiminate my 6-7 rbz irons.  I will practice some more and then decide, and although the distance is nice, I would rather the accurancy of knowing my distances.

Picked these up yesterday...they are EXCELLENT! I love the way they cut through the grass, feel is great, and ballflight is good as well. I think Taylormade has a winner here, they kicked out my trusty RAC TP MB's!

Have a new set 4-PW on the way and will demo them against my new Rocketbladez tours (all lefty of course) to see which will make the bag. Will report back in a couple of weeks.
