This was a good read and easy to get through. The nagging part about the book that bothered me at first was he was not good enough to begin with so the journey was made harder still. However, understanding that there was a bigger journey he was undertaking outside of golf makes the book a better read.
I'd recomend it. Beyond that both the John Feldstein books "a good walk spoiled" and "the majors" were both outstanding books and the GWS is one of my all time favorites.

I read it and thoroughly enjoyed it. He took a gamble and risked really embarassng himself, but he managed to pull it off. It was especially appealing to me since I also live in the Philadelphia, so there were a lot of local references that I could identify with. Overall, a very good read.

This is a great book. I'm about halfway through it.
This book is hillarious, and I find myself laughing everytime I read it. And it's the type of humour where it's funny because everything Coyne writes rings true. We all think we could possibly make it, just if we had the time, resources, and endless practice. It's great because he writes from a golfers perspective for sure. He has the perspective that most of us would have if we tried the same thing. Very little fluff or filler. Good stuff. A+.
