I just picked up a 6s to put in my 910d3 but I'm curious about how much to tip it. My ss is about 105 with medium tempo and a highish launch. So should I tip it more than the 1/2 in for the 910 tip? Thanks.

Why wouldn't you just tip the 1/2" first? You can always cut more but you can't add on to a tip.

That's what I'll end up doing. Just seemed like a lot of people were harping on getting the tipping right. Just curious what their experiences were with it.

Anyone with experiences with a 8s? I Just got a 3 wood from a member here, and want to know what to expect from it.

Its a higher launch, right? I was just using the stock Kai'li on it. The ball would just zip on out of there, rarely getting high in the air

The site says its a 83.5 grams. I do like a heavier shaft in my woods

put this shaft, AD Di 6S, on my 910 D2. 18 hdcp. Big numbers from wayward drives have disappeared. 3 months later now a 13 hncp and everyone comments on how straight I hot the driver. Strongly promote it!

I'm playing a vs proto 65s in my 910D2 right now. I've always hit the driver really low (launch is about 11.0* on flightscope) and im looking to get something that carrys a bit more, as i can sometimes struggle getting it out there a little on the wet scottish fairways. I've read a lot about this being a high launcher so think it might be a good shout. SS is 104. What do you guys think i should go for?

Also wondering if this will be the case? Looking for one used right now for a decent price but no luck.

It's an amazing shaft. You can't overswing it, and it is really easy to control the flight of the ball.

As for the 8s I had one in a 3 wood and it was way to much shaft for me too handle. Low fades all day, when I play the high draw.

My ball flight is low to begin with and all I can seem to manage with this shaft in both S and X is a low line drive to the left. Not for me..

Please explain.  Fakes that is!

I just picked a 7x up from my Adams LS Super Fairway Wood.  I already have the 6x in my driver and love it so decided to give it a shot in the FW.

Can someone help me out please?  I live in South Dakota where getting a chance to try different shafts out usually isnt possible.  I currently play an i15 with a RIP Alpha 2.9 Stiff shaft.  My swing speed is in the 98-105 range.  Would i see any value in moving to a GD Tour AD DI 6 Stiff shaft?  Thanks!

I have been playing the RIP a 70 S in my SuperTri for 2 or 3 years.  My ss pretty much matches yours.  I tried the DI 6 in both S and X last year.   The S was was inconsistent for me, really good when it was good but I had a tendency to get wild with it later in rounds (this is my tendency with most sub 70g shafts I have tried).   The X was just a little too much shaft for me.  Good swings were amazing but I couldn't elevate it when I missed the center of the clubface.  I know feel is subjective but these shafts feel awesome, especially compared to the RIP.  I might give one a go again this year but I'm hitting the RIP great right now.  For reference my hc is at 7 right now .  I'm not a shaft expert by any means but if you like 60g shafts it might be worth looking at.  My best ones with the DI beat my best with the RIP but two bad ones cost me a tourney last year.   Can't speak to the i15, its lower spinning the my ST should be a high launch low spin monster with the DI.
