FIRST OF ALL,
PLEASE LEAVE FEEDBACK ON THIS PRODUCT. Initial impressions, etc....Alright everyone... I figured since I live here, get to test products, and go to the PGA Show its about time I share my vote for product of the year.
I spent all day at Demo Day and only found one product that I felt worthy of a review.
THE FIRST FOOT.
The First Foot created by Mark J. Caldwell PGA, and Tom Covino, and was the most effective tool I tested today. To me this was so simple, and so effective that after 20 or so putts on the green I was dropping putts like it was my job. The product works for rightys or lefties (just flip it over for lefties), you simply follow the white line with the putter, use the white marks to check alignment of the putterface, and complete your stroke. You recieve immediate feedback, and immediate results.
I spent about 40 min with this at my course after the demo day, and I must say its amazing. I really like the durability and simplistic nature of the pruduct. Its made of kevlar so it can be bent any which way, and be put in a bag, and taken with you to the course, or you can just slide it in your bag like a putter.
I think Mark put it best, "if its not in your bag your not going to use it"
I sincerely recommend that everyone interested in creating a consistent and solid putting stroke check this product out. This will be one of the hot sellers this year at the PGA show and in 2011, no doubt in my mind.
I did include a short interview with one of the co-creators and vice president of The First Foot, Mark J. Caldwell PGA.
Q#1: Mark, how did you two develop this product?
A#1 "With our junior golfers, it started as a similar device made of wood for our junior golfers in Texas, and over a couple of years it has evolved into the product we have today. We probably have some of the best putting juniors anywhere."
Q#2 Mark, what kind of results and benifits can we the average consumer expect to see from this product?
A#2 " It will build rhythm, regulate the length of your stoke, remind you to relax your hands, help you visualize your intended line, and give instant feedback and results."
Q#3 Who on tour is using this pruduct?
A#3 "Cameron Beckman, and about a dozen others had these in thier lockers/bags during the Bob Hope Classic."
Q#4 What are your goals for 2011?
A#4 "To release our junior version in the next 120 days, have sucessful year on the PGA Tour, and see this product in more amateurs and average golfers bags in the years to come."
Q#5 Where can we get them, and how much?
A#5 "On firstfoot.net for $59.99 and it should also be in big box retailers by the end of 2011"
I will let the website answer the rest of your questions guys. www.firstfoot.net
