Wow that all looks so great!

Couple questions, how long is he playing his driver?

Also, do you have a hard time installing the custom ferrules to ping irons? They look like you would have a really hard time turning them flush to the hosel.
Less of a question there but I was wondering what stops you from turning them down, they look excellent the way they are but it seems like there would be a reason if you didn't do since you're so good at clubmaking. (Not saying anything negative there, genuinely curious).

Also, good luck to Stratton with making the cuts.. I'd love to see some more swing vids if you ever can get around to it.

That is an illusion with a dark background. The ferrules are completely flush with the hosel.  This happens a lot when you are photographing colored ferrules.  Here is a pic down the shaft.  I turn all ferrules until they are perfect.  If not, I would remove it and re-install the head.

Well, they're perfect! Good luck to Stratton! What about the driver length?

He shot 1 under. We are going into a playoff with 6 players for two spots.

He is IN!  Won the playoff on the second hole with a birdie. David Gosset and four others continue for the last spot.

Moving to Austin after the Fl 2 Man Shootout this weekend.  What tourney is Stratton playing? Open Qual?

So I have assume the OK Lite signing is a done deal?  Great place for golf, and school, not much else... :)

Will he be playing in the Austin Open?  That will be my first tourney as a Texan.  Hope to meet you both out there.

One other question, how was Greyrock?  Its the closest course to the house we are moving into this week.  Im in the air between joining Onion Creek or Grey Rock.

Please share some Austin golf wisdom with me... via PM or here.. thx

Sooner, yes Austin Open is at the same course.  We will see you there.  Grey Rock is a fun place to be a member.  Membership is mostly 30 somethings, so pretty young, and it shows.  Not a stuffy place at all, they have a good time on and off the course there.  Onion Creek is a really old established club.  The members there probably average 60+.  Different worlds as far as members go.  Grey Rock has a good men's league and for the price, I think it is the best deal in Austin hands down.  When you come for a visit, call us. PM me your number. Stratt can show you around.  The head pro (Ryan Hodge) is like another son to me (and like Stratton's older brother)  I can tell you that it is an easy decision.  Grey Rock

LOL, yep done deal.  It won't take you long to realize who Stratton is and where his allegiance is.  When it comes to OSU, Stratton is ALL IN.  Look at what he wore to the qualifier today>>>>

I can tell you when he wears all Puma with the monoline, it gets into other players heads.  All the comments and outloud remarks make him bear down more and he gets it done with his sticks, not his mouth.  Even if another school came in and offered him more than OSU, this kid would NEVER switch.  He is already a Cowboy in his mind.
His new plates on his car tell the story as well:

I think he did that this week to his woods when we were working on the club pro's set in my shop.  The club pro has gone all orange now too.

That sounds like a sick setup! So he ditched the Circle T Laguna for the Nome?! And that picture of the cart is crazy!

My inlaws live 5 minutes from Greyrock and I have played there quite a few times. Really enjoy the course and the facilities.
