I can't stop thinking about this driver ever since I was fit for it last year.
I was fit for a 9.5˚ D2 w/ a stiff Ahina 80. The driving range was only 250 yards with super spinny balls to shorten up flight, and I was hitting the wall at the end of the range. $450 is just a bit steep I'm afraid.

910D3 8.5 w/RIP 70x. Also have the PX 7A3. My favorite driver since the 983k. My personal ranking of Titleist drivers for me:
910 as above
983k w/MFT Fuji Speeder X
905R w/Blueboard 83x
....
....
....
Last:
907D2, even with a Whiteboard 83x

Only one I haven't hit was the 909 series. My buddy keeps tempting me to try a G20, but I can't do it. Love this club.

Just ordered a D2 10.5 with a Diamana shaft. Found if I set it to D4 I get optimum distance out of it (launch and spin are about perfect). I plan on only playing that on days with little to no wind. On days where there is some wind I'll know it down to A1 and on days with a lot of wind D1. Perfect set up. Granted I do believe the Callaway RazorX has a hotter overall face the Titleist gives me more options and I can still BOMB it!

Good Morning, I just got my 910 D3 and I want to ask, what is the expected ball flight with the A3 or D3 setting?

I tend to hit a weak fade/slice and am trying to get to a consistant draw. I am 5'10 and not a very fast swinger, quite short swing with normal carry of about 210 - 220 yards but good roll out. I currently hit either a 905R or 905T with 10.5 degree loft.

My new 910 D3 is 9.5 loft and has a MFT kali 65 s

thanks for your help

There's a left hand and right hand chart, and that's it. A3 and D3 will increase loft and close the clubface, which will help with your desired ballflight.

I'd actually be more concerned that your shaft is too stiff. It sounds like you should be using a regular.

Hi there Yellow Jacket,

thanks for your reply, I currently have my 905R with a NVS 65 R and my 905T has a MFT 4565 R so I think the R is my best swing flex. I had looked at the Titleist chart and just wanted some confirmation that i was making the right adjustments.

thank you for your help!!

This is the first driver I have bought new in 10 years and all I can say is wow.  I hit 5 or 10 yds further (NBD) but it's where it goes that impresses me.  Dead straight where aimed.
Out of 7 drives in the round all were in the fairway.  Also much closer to the target. I got the D2 9.5 lefty with the Kali shaft and set it to A-1 which for a right would be D-4.  I have more confidence with the driver than ever before and knocked 6 strokes off the first round.  I know there are alot of great drivers out there but the ability to change stuff about loft lie and swing weight really appealled to the geek in me, but in practice this thing does need much tinkering.  Average distance first round was about 280 yds.  Not huge but it's where the 280 landed that dropped the strokes.  Wedging into most par 4's is nice.  Now I need to stick em closer! LOL

This is by far the best driver I have ever hit. As the son of a pro, I have always just been handed down drivers by my dad, all of which were setup for him, which usually had longer and stiffer shafts than I could handle which made me change my driver swing and swing harder than I really wanted to.

I wanted to see what it was like to have my own driver and went to get fitted. I tested out the D2, D3, Ping & R11. I was landing the D2 where all the other clubs stopped. The D2 was also the straightest of the clubs for me, I bought it with the standard stiff shaft it comes with. I played my first round with the club last week, I am very happy with it! I hit more fairways with this club than I ever have with any other driver I have owned!

I like the 909D3 better.  I tried out a 910D3 and for some reason it felt a tiny bit more 'vague' than the 909D3.

I went from a 975J to the 909D3.  Needless to say, misses with the 909 go as far as center hits on the 975.  And my dispersion is a lot better.  Even though the club is bigger, I can play a fade or a draw on command with it.

Ballflight with this shaft and club is down right nasty.  The 975 would just plop in the fairway and roll 5 feet.  The 909 ballflight is like a mid-mid high cannon ball, boring through the air.

I am using a 910 D2 with a ahina kaili 65 stiff shaft. I was hitting the ball very high with no roll at all so have set it to C2 to keep the flight down but this thing is still launching as high as my gap wedge. The reason I still use this club is because I am hitting alot of fairways with it, which is great, but my spinrates must be off the chart with this thing, I would guess my drives are landing around 270-275 with this AND getting no roll which is 10-15 yards behind my other drivers but is straighter. What shafts should I be looking at to keep the ball-flight down that won't affect accuracy??? Getting a test on a monitor isn't possible so will work off feedback.

D2 with the Bassara 50 shaft. I simply could not be happier. Best driver/shaft combination I have ever had. And been playing since the days of persimmon.
It is a fairway finder.

If you're putting too much spin on the ball, you might want to look into angle of attack. 99% of golfers hit down on their woods too much.

Yes I am conscious of that, it has been suggested to me I might be hitting down on it, however I have no problem with hitting my 3 wood too high, whether its teed up or off the deck. I can hit my G15 3 wood almost as far as the driver, I think its due to getting too much spin. Could a shaft change, to heavier or just a different shaft reduce spin or is it the head that generates the spin?

The head has a much greater effect on launch and spin than the shaft. As for your 3 wood, you could very easily have a good angle of attack on your 3 wood and have a horrible angle of attack on your driver. In fact, with your 3 wood, you're going to want to hit down on it slightly, but if you're doing the same thing with your driver then you're hitting down on it too much.

I've had my D2 for just over a year now and love it. I have the 9.5 degree model. The ball makes a great sound off the face. It was by far the best driver that I demoed. Titleist makes the best players' clubs

Yeah.  Have the MFT 72x in my D3.  It plays between a S an X IMO.  It's a nice shaft, and can be had for very cheap.  Let us know how it works for you.

I unloaded my 907D2 for a 910D2, I figured I needed an upgrade.  I hit my 907 240-250 carry on a good day and I'm hoping this would give a few more yards to my drive.  I can't wait to play them tomorrow.

Just picked up a D2 with an Ahina 72.  Loving it so far, I'm hitting it bit low with the Ahina so I just picked up a Kai'li to see if that will help.  It's much more forgiving than I thought it would be.
