I quite like them. Definitely not as soft feeling as the Mizuno's. I actually don't really notice too much of a difference between these in terms of flight. It's nice to have S300's again, they're like old friends!
The three and four are cool. Look like normal irons, and make a unique click when they're hit.
Doesn't really help the part of my game holding me back, chipping and pitching!

They go up pretty much as I get them. So I guess the Scratch irons were late last year? Or at the start, then Mizuno, then Nike, then Pings. Now these. However I swear if these don't last then I'm using a twenty year old set of Spalding Tour Edition blades....
At the end of the day, my ball striking ebbs and flows with the seasons (we play all year, but course gets wet in winter which means you can hold more greens and pitch straight at holes) but then in summer, you have much shorter shots into most holes.
My short game is dire, a good day is 50%,up and downs, I get near par when I hit 11 greens or so, but combined with spiys (using bellly with claw grip which has got my putts on greens to less than two, and usually around 32 putts) and a poor shot game has meant that if I don't hit the ball well I can be ten over.
But the irons feel nice, make a nice sound, and aren't any more difficult to hit, well apart from the SB1's which were hard, hard work.

I don't know about money. As long as the clubs I sell are the current and the replacements just released it's not to bad. Definitely sticking with these for the rest of the year. They're just simple looking, good ball flight and there are no suprises when I hit (or mishit!) them.

And the result was my second ever round under 70. It's been ten years and two months since the last time! And I started on tenth hole before anyone starts talking about coming home in an ambulance!
It's a short course, but has six par threes which means it's a little longer than the card suggests. And it's still 69.

So we can expect to see the Tour Editions in your bag shortly?????
