It's in Tuscaloosa, but I believe it's closed.

The old university course has been closed for several years, but the team now plays at a new Jerry Pate design course in Tuscaloosa called Ol' Colony.  They have a great practice facility for the team.

Even when Harry Pritchett Golf Course was open, the UA golf team played/practiced at Indian Hills and North River, a pair of country clubs. The Pritchett course may have been the single worst golf course ever designed.

Example A: It had a double-dogleg PAR FOUR of about 360. I am not kidding. It was about 180 off the tee, then left about 70 yards, then right about 90. There were also 3-4 parallel holes on the front nine that were identical -- tee off downhill, hit back uphill to the green. On one of those holes (No. 7, I think), The incline was so severe that if you landed the ball in the fairway during a dry spell, the ball would roll back to you.

Since then, I've heard they play at two different places: Ol' Colony in Northport or Capstone Club in Brookwood. I have never played Capstone Club. Ol' Colony is a very good deal for the money but I don't think it's quite the course that some others do. But it is a good test of golf with a sane layout, unlike the old Pritchett course.
