I've hit both pretty extensively and I feel that DG Spinner is a little more stable. For me the DGSpinner spun more and launched lower. I play the WEDGE in my LW and WEDGE+ in my SW. I originally started with the WEDGE in my SW but it spun a little bit too much. DGSpinner is product of the year in my book.:friends:

I have the DG Spinner in a Cleveland CG 15 60 with 8 degree of bounce. The only shot I play with a 60 is with an open face. I have hit shots from 20 to 30 yards, that hit the green, take one small bounce forward and then take a bounce back. My CG15 has a angled wear groove on it from opening the club face, that start in the center of the bottom groove and then comes out about 2/3 of the way up the face on the toe.

I have done this with a ProV1, ProV1x, a Taylormade Penta, and the new ProV1x prototype that is a great replacement. It will be the new ball I play with when it comes out in the spring.

All in all a great shaft. I had plans on buying the HI Rev shaft by KB as I have two sets of Vokeys, with the KBS X flex in them at the present time. But I am so pleased with the, DG, I think I will just stick with them.

Don't waste you money on anything but the DG Spinner!

I have played the Hi Revs from both FST and KBS...nice shafts but a little loose and I didn't notice any difference in spin. Had the ACCRA SP's, I really liked these shafts, super smooth and great feel especially around the greens on less than full shots. Spun a bit more and the balls (Penta and Pro Vx) reacted nicely. Control was also very good with the SP's. A really dense graphite. Nice and heavy...would play it again.

The Spinner...stable, smooth and a spin-a-holic! You actually have to retrain yourself how to hit shots...kinda. I have them in a set of TM XFT's with the confoming ZTP inserts and really can't tell the difference from my RAC Z's and I think they (XFT's) might be a little better. Control with the spinner is superb. I can hit a little half shot right at my mark and it just sits! But also, if I play a little more bounce into the shot, it releases right on que. Ball flight is noticably lower and driving. I like thisthe best, I am a high ball hitter and always struggle with hitting low wedge shot. Not anymore. Low mids and high shot are pretty easy once you get the feel.

The look is also pretty cool. I have had comments from WOW to ...What the hell is that?

Really love the shaft and I am not a big DG person. As another poster said...This could be one of the best products we have seen in a while. Well worth the investment. I am actually doing another set of wedges for backup just because of the shafts.

I have both the 124 and 131 grams....wedge and wedge+. Can really say if I notice a difference, maybe a little heavier with the + (I know obvious) but its not dramatic. Just a little beefier. If that makes sense.

Oh sorry I never answered your question. I play a 50 and 54...watch full shots. You will suck them off the green...if your conditions are consistent. I found if I slow my tempo a little I get the result I want. Kinda feels like a 3/4 shot to me, but still flies the same distance and sits down like a scolded dog.

Like anything its great to find new tech, but it all comes down to execution. With these shafts...I feel I had to kinda relearn shots, but it open up more opportunities and shotmaking to my game.

g-money, so you put the "wedge+" in the 50 and "wedge" in the 54?

I'm building a 56 and 60 and planned on putting the wedge in both because of what I'd read in a few places (wedge was for SW, LW, XW, wedge+ for PW, GW) as far as fitament. Does this sound right?

drpino and RookieBlue7...yes that is my set up. From my research I drew the same conclusions.

Two reasons...when I initially got some all I could get were the wedge+'s, the wedge were out of stock. I wanted to test both and me being like a kid a Xmas, got a couple of the +'s sent in. The other reason and this was advise from another fitter was that when the tour guys started working with this shaft, they had put the +'s in their PW and GW to help with Swingweight and overall weight. They then put the standard weight wedge shafts in their SW and LW. Reviews said that all the wedges felt more balanced with this set up. I would have to say on paper the idea seemed sound based on the gram difference typically found in the wedge heads acending in loft.

In practial testing, I would have to say the theory works as well. As I said before I realy don't notice much of a difference between the two, but just a touch. Most of the time if I am hitting a 50*, it is usually a full shot. Where as my 54 and 58, it is usually less than a full one. So th emore agressive move at the ball lends maybe balances the difference in weight and flex. I am told that the + is stiffer but CPM wise they are all in the 340 range, give or take a couple cpm's. (tested with grips on).

Even on chips, I can't tell too much of a difference. They feel solid and produce, what I would call very consistent action on the ball.

I love em...and with the advent of the new grooves and everyone making a "spin" shaft, I would easily say they are the best on the market. I would give second place to the Accra SP...another great shaft. Does not feel like the graphite iron shaft we are all familiar with. Very beefy and solid. I also understand UST has a graphite wedge out or coming out very soon. Based on other experiences, I think it may be similar to the Accra, however I have not tested it yet. With how good the DG Spinner is, I may not even try.

Thanks for sharing your experiences, g-money. I'm eagerly awaiting delivery of a "wedge+" and "wedge" for my 52° & 58° TVDs.
