I was in my clubs pro shop yesterday and I was talking to the assistant about that big silly looking  ping putter. I told him don't laugh, I played against Lawrence Taylor(L.T.) recently and he made 9 birdies with that putter over 36 holes. My assistant said the ping putter reminded him of that big rectangular shaped putter putter that Jack Nicklaus played with in the mid 80s. Once again I thought dont laugh I used to own one and I made a ton of birdies with that putter. The reason I like it because it was much longer heel to toe than the average putter and I was able to keep it on line longer because of that. But that club would never make the club ho hall of fame, in fact I'm probably losing votes by telling you that I used this putter, but it is just part of the life of a club ho. What was or is in your bag, that you would be ashamed to tell the group, c'mon fess up!!!!

When I first got my Guerin Rife 2Bar from Kenny Perry, no one had ever seen them before..It was a little unusual and radical in design, now just about everyone has heard of them, and many are putting with them..I have been using mine for almost 2 years now..it just makes so many damn putts...

Do you guys remember the Mr. Spin or Dr. Spin or something wedges??  They had reverse grooves and supposedly would spin back a range ball on asphalt.  One of them was lost on my course, and after it being in the lost and found for 6 months, we took it out to the parking lot for a little test...

All I can say is it worked.  The damn range ball spun back in the parking lot!!

It was very ugly though, and It'd be scary what that thing must do to a prov on the course, I never took it out but...it'd probably spin back 30 yards!
