Thx.  Looks sort of like one of the seemore sb models.

Could be, I'm just guessing based upon what I thought I saw on TV. Not the final word by any stretch...

Garrigus drove 30-40 yards longer than everyone else in the playoff today. What's he using?

By PGA standards, Luke Donald and Furyk are short knockers. Garrigus has quite a bit of club head speed and could probably hit a persimmon driver past those two.

Robert Garrigus has gone to a long putter.

Perhaps, though, Garrigus has a slightly different idea of what constitutes "long" than the average golfer.

Garrigus' new flat stick is an Odyssey White Ice 2-Ball V-Line putter that measures 32.5 inches. But that is quite a bit longer than his usual 27-inch gamer. Garrigus is known for his extra-short putter.

At Deutsche Bank, Garrigus was T-4 in putts per round with an average of 27.3. He finished T-42 for the event.

Robert Garrigus relied on good putting to finish T4 at the BMW Championship and ensure a place in the 3-man Tour Championship. Garrigus, who was previously known for using a very short putter, is utilizing a new Odyssey White Ice 2-Ball V-Line that measures 33 inches.

"I've been really comfortable with that new putter," Garrigus said. "I really decided to do something I've never done before, and that's go to a regular length putter. If I could just stroke it under pressure the way I wanted to, it was going to be good because I've never tried it before. It's 33 inches, it's six inches longer, and it's rolling great."

Garrigus had 1.636 putts per green in regulation for his rounds at Crooked Stick.
