A lot of styles out on the golf course at the moment and a lot of new Autumn/Winter product about. What styles do you guys prefer and why?

I was kind of fond of the pants that Gary Boyd was wearing Sunday on the Euro tour. Nice mini-flare cut to the pants. Stylin! Then I found out that they were Ian Poulter, too expensive for me.

Adam Scott with burberry had some really nice stuff. I like most of the Travis Matthew stuff now that most guys are wearing.

I think J Byrd and Luke Donald (both Polo guys) always look put together.  Of the trendier dressers, I like most of Camilo's and Ian Poulter's stuff.

I like the classics mixed with modern style. fitted shirts, pants, color....

I am really not sure. It depends on each golfers outfit for the day. Gotta say tho I am really diggin the lime or mint green and white. Love white period.

I think Webb Simpson is a great ambassador for Polo.  Fowler, weather you like the style or not is always well put together.

TA III, Byrd & Luke always look sharp.  Even throw Bill Haas in this category.
Camilo and Rickie can pull off what they wear so it works.

Daren Clark for the conservative look and I like Poulter for the bold side.  Young guns, Camillo and Ricky pull it off well.

Actually I have always thought Steve Elkington dressed very sharply, although some of his retro looking outfits are a little over the top, but all in all he looks very professional.

Ricke Fowler looks like a Circus Peanut.

Tiger Woods should be mentioned as well.

His TW Collection line is very nice.  Some of the patterns can be a little off the wall, but overall, the collection is one of the very best on tour year in year out.

For voting purposes, i voted for Camillo because i really like the JL line.  It's a classic look and athletic at the same time.

No right or wrong answer for this type of question......its really up to the style that appeals to you.

I like many golf styles or at the least appreciate them.

I know I have watched many a golf tournament when girlfriend would happen to walk by or look up at the Tv and see somebody and comment that either see thought they looked good or goofy or weird

I have seen many non golfers before think that Payne Stewards dress was odd..... but if you are a golf fan, Payne seemed to pull of his look very well.

I have seen many young and old either love or hate the Fowler, Poulter, Barnes, look.

I would almost think that Tiger pulls off a very clean look that he could literally take from the golf course to a business meeting......

Lots of trendy dressers on tour today......

I have actually heard some say that they like the John Daily look......

So to each their own.

I agree with Webb Simpson, very classy for a young player.

Jesper Parnevik was and still is #1. This guy in the 90's was years ahead of his time!

Of course, it helps when a certain J. Lindeberg, relatively unknown back then, is a good friend of yours.

If it's restricted to guys that you still see on the main Tour from time to time, I'd have to go Tom Watson.

Surprised you don't have Zach Johnson (Dunning) listed as an option.  He would get my vote!

I vote for Tiger. Although I actually like how Fowler, Poulter, Camilo, Barnes and (yes even) Ryan Moore dress, Tiger's clothing fits my own personal preference a little more.

He is a bad person???  We are all bad then, for sure, since we have all done really stupid stuff in our life to get what Tiger wanted....and paid for.  Gheesh!

Just a hunch, but PM won't be mentioned in this thread.  Stricker always looks nice, Donald, Poulter looks cool except the pink stuff!

Woods looks better than anyone else on tour in his golf outfits.  He has the right physique, and Nike has the $$ to hire the best clothing designers.  I will say, I've had about enough of the Sunday "Red Shirt" nonsense.  When you don't win anymore.....That Thailand good luck crap gets old!

Any golfer is consider well dressed IMO if the following conditions are met:

  • No pleats
  • shirt sleeves that hit at the mid bicep
  • colors are decently coordinated
  • The use of "natural materials" is exhibited
  • The pants are an appropriate length, not too long or short

By natural materials, I mean cotton, wool, leather and the like.  Space age materials and re-hashed polyester will make for some embarrassing episodes when looked back on in 20 years.

another vote for Davis Love.  can't get any classier looking than that (though Adam Scott is a close second).  I am also a fan of Poulter, but thats only because of his bold choices and i think he's one of the rare few people that can pull it off.

IJP, flashy and stylish at the same time. The easy leader in the clubhouse.

Right now, if he loses the red on Sunday bit, Tiger. All opinion though.. Minus the sunglasses he wore.. no good..

Not as mainstream as most of the names on this thread but Matt Jones always looks really sharp.
