Always Oakley. Usually half jacket but I'll mix in my custom Radar's from time to time.

For health reasons I wish I enjoyed playing golf wearing sunglasses, but I don't.
I like the natural color of the sky, the grass, trees, all of it. Wearing shades on the golf course dims that experience.

I recently bought a pair of Maui Jim Black Rock Sunglasses and they look amazing.  I get compliments on them everywhere I go. I didn't intend to purchase these to go golfing with, but I recently went on MauiJim.com and found that the Black Rock glasses were somewhat marketed towards golfers.  How do you guys feel about golfing with sunglasses?  I never tried it because I feared it would mess with my depth perception.  But my Maui Jims have AWESOME clarity.  I do have trouble following my ball sometimes during flight.  It's my first pair $300 shades, although I have some $200 Oakleys.  What do you guys think?  Play with sunglasses or not?

Maui Jim...Banyans with the HT lenses.  They are great.

Do not wear them anywhere but at the course as they are "athletic" sunglasses.

On a personal note...anyone over 30 wearing Oakley sunglasses looks a bit silly to me.  Kind of like the old guy that wears bright white New Balances and blue jeans.  Just an opinion, I wore Oakleys until last year, then I gave them to my 12 year old nephew.  He thinks they're great.

I am an Eye Doctor and the  best Sunglasses from My Point of view is the Serengeti Driver
Please Look at http://www.bestsunglassesforgolf.com which gives you my reasoning.
Other Great Sunglasses are Persol,Costa Del Mar, Smith,Oakley These Brands have great optics,Polarization, amber tinting

Just waiting on eyesave.com to have a sale!  Much cheaper for the serengeti than Oakley.

yes... Oakley Half Jackets, I too change lenses every now and then...

Although I work on a pc all day long, my eyes tend to strain a bit, so they are worn most the time while outside.

I wear costa del mars everywhere I go. For golf I feel like polarization hinders my reading green ability. My next purchase will be flak jackets like Ian Poulter's.

I wear bolle vigilantes, and sometimes nyx
I notice a predominance of oakleys.
has anyone switched from bolle's to oakleys? was there a measurable difference?

Rudy Projects are expensive - but not bad if you can get a $110 discount

I always wear sunglasses, but they end up on my hat 95% of the time.

I don't care for the way they mess with my view, so usually I only put them on when I am hitting into the sun.

I have a pair of Maui Jims (forget the model) and Sundog. But wear them maybe 5% of the time on the course. I prefer to play without them. I also notice I have a harder time reading greens with the shades on.

I never golfed with sunglasses until this year.  Most comfortable yet very ugly pair I wear is my Oakley Mframe with rootbeer lens or G30 lens....prefer the rootbeer though.  MFrames are so ugly but they completely fill up your field of vision, are light as a feather and don't move AT ALL when swinging.  It's like not wearing them at all.

Lately though I've been using Flak Jackets with the VR28 lens.  For those of you who really do not like the G30.....I just don' tink thy realy do anything....give the VR28's a shot.  They block out more light and bring out contrast a lot more than the G30 lens.

Oakley Flak Jacket, but I take them off when I putt. For some reason, it throws my depth perception off.

When I started I did, but lately I quit and like it much better. Poor depth perception as it is so sunglasses were actually making it worse and didnt know til now.

I have 3 pair of Oakley's, all with polarized lenses with UV protection.  I had lasik surgery performed on both my eyes and ever since, my eyes are more sensitive to light and I need the UV protection as well.
