I am going to go play in a simulator this week - I have not done one in about 5 or 6 years. I hear the technology is much better. I am looking forward to it.
The long game works pretty well. Chipping is ok, but you have to get your head around what a 30 yard chip is. I think we can all feel a 30 yard chip, but dialing up the right touch for this shot, when you have a screen 10 feet in front of you is weird.
Putting is also odd for the same reason.

Happy New Year OW !!
That sure beats the cold of Maryland. Although they say it's supposed to be near 60 tomorrow we'll see. I played one of the OCN courses about 5 years ago, I think it was The Panther, not sure. But it was a beautiful course and fabulous clubhouse. Enjoy the trip.

That analyzer is something. That's what put me in regular flex, and I've never looked back. The XP's are good shafts.
I actually just picked up a set of MX-300 heads here in the BST. I'm going to try to give then the wood dowel treatment. I'll report back once I build them and get a chance to hit them in the sim.

You need a WITB signature. What shaft did it recommend for you? What is the wood dowel treatment? Hope they turn out great for you!

Did you order / pay for them already?
I was going to ask you in your WITB why not get another set of Nike VR Wedges?
LOL...I mentally toyed with switching to the MP68s but not going to. I have paid for them.. I want the swingweight to match my irons and wedges. The shaft in my irons is only available to the Mizuno company. Thats why I am going with the Mizzy wedges versus Titty or Nike. I was able to get the MP T-10s too for more spin. I changed from Vokeys because the head weight is too heavy with the Vokeys. I am keeping my Nike irons and wedges from last year. I will say I am getting nearly identical grinds and bounce angles in the equivalent wedges.

Unless you know someone; I know your not suppose to but they can still sell their supply of heads on hand. Certain companies are more lenient than others..

I want to order vokeys with the New Spinner shafts but the salesman at DD said they can only custom order CC Vokeys.
I figured that didn't make sense - They are not allowed to produce them but I'm sure they still have some heads in stock. I'm going to call my proshop tomorrow.
