Wow.. Even though they aren't for me, I like the look. Nice green (not quite lime ).
Interesting that PING is using a name rather than an Alphanumeric for a model name. That's why car companies like BMW use series numbers rather than names. It gets you to remember the brand first, the model second. That's why Acura dropped the Legend, Integra, etc. in favor of the...hey, what are Acuras models?
Those things look great for sure cant wait to see them hit the pro shops and cant wait to hit them thats for sure maybe look into getting a set hmmmmmm.
so i guess titanium face with tungsten on the toe?
Seems decent maybe it will center the sweet spot for once on irons instead of always being slightly heel biased
I like the look, would lvoe to see in person. Hey, did anyone notice that the Adams hybrid appears to have "6 6 6" written on the sole?
Have some people sold their soul to be on tour? Is this an option, and if anyone knows how I could give up my eternal soul to golf for a living (successfully I might add, top 10 finish on money list, year in year out) please PM me.

Thanks for the photos.
I wish Ping would stop making their new models with cheap plastic medallions in the cavity.
I think the medallions are different weights for swingweight purposes similar to the x tours. that is what the guy at my local golf etc told me who just got back from a trip to ping.
They look a little wide for my liking, but they look very forgiving and solid just looking at the pics. I am pleased to see another color other than blue...that was getting quite long in the tooth, IMO.
Are the S60's going to be in the same color family or different? I would love to see close ups of those ;D
Looks like Ping may have some new wedges coming out as well. Saw Ryan Moore today at the JD Classic w/ a proto Ping wedge with what I believe to be a small cavity towards the topline of the club. Didnt get close enough to snap a pic though sorry guys.
It musta been working cuz he was sticking everything close and then spinning it back some even on 30 yd shots (Though that could of just been fresh grooves).
They look much better than I thought they would. I like the green better than the current blue. I went from ISI's to I3 Blades because of the offset, and these have way more than suits my eye, but I do find the clubs, dare I say, handsome! Cant wait for good pics of the S60's.
I like the looks of these, but they do seem to have a decent amount of offset and they seem to have very large soles which should help promote higher ball flight. I would love to give these a try and see hwo they play.
Richard, great pics. I have loved Ping for years, but, this one just looks waaay too much of everything, offset, sole, etc. for my taste. If they have a version more friendly to "players" (not that I'm one) that may be something to consider. The finish is great on these clubs. Very non-Ping like finish.
I'm trying to come up with an iron that's had a wider sole than that.
The cavity insert looks like something that has an adhesive backing and is just stuck in there. I think Cleveland golf has patents on elastomeric cavity inserts. I wonder if Ping's working to skirt around the coverage of those patents (which, I might add, is a perfectly legal and legitimate business approach in my humble intellectual property opinion!). The weight port on the I3/G series of irons was cast into the structure of the head if I recall correctly. Maybe it's just the way it looks.

I think the sole on the new fusions are wider. They look similar to the Big bertha irons. Maybe nice to try the 2 iron if they make on would imagine it would be easy to hit.
To be honest these irons are not marketed at the guys who look at this board, as many have said sole is too wide and too much offset, but for their target market i'm sure these are one great set of clubs. Ping just don't put out bad clubs.
At least they aren't as offset as the G5 irons. These compare more to the i3 OSize. I think I found my next set, I bet these irons cost a kidney, however.

Correct, Ping has used the inserts to correct swingweight or get to the customers desired swingweight since the I3 days. They also help to "soften" the feel since it dampens vibration...
They did have a glue problem on some batches of irons, but seems as if that has been corrected and not as many ports are falling out short of you banging it off a tree or leaving it in boiling hot water all night long...
They look like a set of hybrids ala the old G2 helper irons or an Adams Idea set. Really wide soles. Sadly the finish on the steel part is the same old guyson. I hope they will spark when rock/sand hit the faces like the old callaway Tung-Tis did, that was great fun at dusk at the driving range. Wait until you see the price on these puppies.
