Just had these shown to me today. VR Tour, left, is beautiful, no more power bow, very pear shape, Black STR8 connector looks ALOT better. Nike PX shaft stock

Machspeed Black round, right, more elongated shape, rep say it is for more forgiveness, higher launch, either way, great looking, all black is HOT. Same black STR* connector as Vr Pro. Nike Fubuki shaft stock

would you consider the face of the vr pro deep or shallow. how does it compare to the vr tour (no straight fit).

They have almost got rid of all that awful yellow, but they still included just that small SQ. Also, does this mean the square head is officially dead as far as Nike is concerned?

huh, i didn't know that machspeed was branched from SQ.

i don't think square is dead for them. i just think they are making a round and had a square for people to choose. like before with their other drivers.

hehe. I find it a little funny you reply my post when what you wrote has nothing to do with mine.

but yeah, would really like to buy this driver. almost pulled the old trigger on the vr tour now. I started a post asking and a guy named SPINACH told me there weren't going to be any new heads other than the round machspeed. just said they were making a 460 vr tour, (glued) and another 460 with the black straight fit.

thank goodness didn't trust him 100%

+1 on this question. Looking at the picture, I think the VR tour is deeper. But then again I may be wrong :)

The First Square Nike came out with is still one of my favorite all time drivers it does nothing but go straight and I think the yellow was good for them, I still prefer the sq line color scheme but I do love the VR Str8-fit

I am not a fan of Nike drivers but the VR Tour does look sweet, the MachSpeed also has improved looks. I had a SasQuatch about 3 years ago, it was very inconsistent for me. While I am extremely happy with my current driver, I will have a look at both of those when they appear here.

Can some body that has hit the Nike drivers with the compression channel tell me if this is for real? Does it improve the ball speed or the sound? Or is it another marketing gimmick? I would really love to hit the new vr toursPosted Image

I can't say for certain that it's a drastic improvement, but most of my misses are low on the face and my overall miss has been longer with this club. But the biggest difference I have found with this club is that it spins much much less than the previous offerings I've tried from Nike. I have been longer with this club simply due to roll. At first I was hitting it very low but after using a longer tee, it has become quiet the bomber. The higher tee also has resulted in the low-faced miss, but those seem to still be fairly straight and over 200yds.

Actually he told you the only one staying was the 420cc VR Tour.

He said:

"420 Tour is going forward. Adding 460 Tour, Str8 fit 460 with the same head shape as the glued and a round Machspeed. Glued fairways to match the Tour drivers and a new hybrid. All VR wood product will come stock with PX graphite going forward. Obviously new VR irons."

That's from the thread you started a few weeks back.

Where is te 460 tour? Isn't the vr pro 440? Where is the 460 str8 fit?

I was just pointing out that Spinach told you the only driver staying was the 420cc VR Tour. You wrote that he said the only new head would be the machspeed when he clearly wrote there would be new models. I don't know what size the VR Pro is but I would imagine it would be 460cc and not 440cc.

Look at that head! No way it's 460. It's way smaller than the machspeed

Hats off to Nike for making some really good looking product with those new irons and these drivers. I guess Adams Golf was on to something with the black clubs trend.

The 8.5 & 9.5 are 430cc's and the 10.5 & 11.5 are 460cc's in the VR Pro Driver. There is not a glued version of this club (yet anyway...who knows the future).

Both shafts are made for. The Project X is identical to real except with just a slightly softer tip. The Machspeed Black (round and square) come with a matte black Fubuki Alpha 50 something grams. It looks amazing.

These are gorgeous clubs
