While watching the WGC today I noticed that Phil was using the last available hole on his belt. Looks like he is a size 36 trying to wear a size 34 belts. What is your preference?

Which is the world's worst possible thread topic?

The answer......

The proper fit is the one right in the middle.  Guys with roller coaster diets and weight variations will have issues with their belts.

I can't see the image - the real burning issue for me is, what colour was Phil's belt?

The fashion lady in the pro shop at the country club that I work at told me the proper way to wear a belt is the 3rd hole. 4th is okay as well.

size 36 pants should were a size 38 belt, middle hole is ideal.

I have always had trouble with shoe laces being too long. Just how much 'flop' should one have after tying a perfect bow knot? I know you don't want so much that you step on the end and pull the knot loose, but you don't want a cutesy little flippy knot either. What is the perfect length shoe string to get that just right bow?

[And no cheating with double knots.]

A correct size belt should be worn on the third or 4th hole. I wear a 33-34in waist and all of my custom made gun belts are size 38.

HA I think you're really on to something here!

Think about it, TaylorMade and Adidas.  Drivers and accessories including belts.

Sell 'em as a pair.  TaylorMade makes enough new drivers a year to match up with different colors of belts offered throughout the year.

Think of the marketing slogan: Belt it down the middle!

...and let's not let pass that other ever important issue of a belt cover to protect it between shots.

Come on now, who would use a belt cover, ....and who would rather let their belt develop belly chatter?
