What is the best course you have ever played ......Ever?

For me,
Bandon Dunes Resort

How about you?

With out a doubt...Wolf Creek in Mesquite Nevada.  There are 17 holes on the course, which would be signature holes on any other golf course.  Amazing experience and very affordable.  Highly recommended.

Hard to narrow it down but I'd say Grand Cypress New Course (although the other 27 holes North, South East are damn good too) in Orlando

Haven't played too many great ones.  Good courses that made an impression on me:

PGA West Stadium
Torrey South
Princeville Prince
Poipu Bay
La Quinta Mountain
Glen Abbey

Would love to catch a round at Bandon, Pebble and Wolf Creek with my Dad before he gets too long in the tooth.

Outside of the obvious (Pebble, Bethpage, etc), Kapaula Plantation in Hawaii was phenomenal to play. Lots of very fun holes and you can't beat that aqua blue water being your backdrop to nearly every shot.

Windsong Farm in Minnesota. Extremely private, not too many people know about it, but it is absolutely stunning, prestine, and challenging.

Cape Fear Golf Club in Wilmington, NC was the best for me, but I am a rookie when it comes to travel golf.

I haven't played a ton of "epic" golf courses, but I did get the opportunity to play Sherwood Country Club earlier this year and I must say it was awesome. Dustin Johnson and Wayne Gretzky were walking to the first tee as we made the turn and Craig T. Nelson was playing right behind us with his dog in the cart! Many celebrities are members here, but the course is the real star. It can be very challenging off the tee but I will say I enjoyed every moment of it.

For those who have played Wolf Creek, I'm trying to make a trip out there with 10+ buddies the middle of next year. We're looking at playing a mini tournament of sorts with 4 rounds of golf all at different courses. So obviously Wolf Creek would be one and I think Conestoga will be another, but do you guys have any opinion as to what 2 other courses would be the best? We may be open to making the drive to St. George one of the days if it's worth it.

Justwellsy.... wait til we reopen March 1 at Sherwood. We're finishing a 20 million dollar renovation and it's going to be fantastic.

European Club - Wicklow, IRE ... Tough, fair, beautiful and fun. Could not have been better. I also have fond memories of Reflection Bay in Las Vegas growing up.

The Old Course without a doubt. I haven't done a ton of golf travel, but this place gave me chills and such positive memories littered throughout my rounds. Playing the Road Hole and crossing the Swilcan Bridge with my dad will always be one of my best memories. I could play that course everyday for the rest of my life and I think I would enjoy it every bit as much as the first time.

Last week was pretty special with Pebble and Spyglass with my best friend!  After playing these two I just can't understand how anyone could say either is overrated.  Walking up to the tips of the 18th hole at Pebble felt like.....like something I know I will never forget.

Sorry for the low res pics as I have not posted many here.  The last I was playing with an oil filter in Photoshop for a print I am making for my office.  Also you will notice the roped off area in the Spyglass photo.  That is to protect the landing area for the US Amateur in a couple of weeks.
Anyway, golf can't get a whole lot better than last week for me!!
