• Steel clubface features Variable Face Thickness technology that’s thickest in the middle and thinner at the edges, providing power across the entire face
• Increased clubhead efficiency maximizes ball speed for added distance
• Compact, rounded head design nicely frames the ball at address, adding confidence on the tee box
• Bore-thru hosel goes down to the sole of the clubhead, adding further stability for greater feel and control

Steelhead plus was my first 3 wood and I ocassionally use it. I replaced the original shaft with True Temper EI-70 stiff shaft. After the re-shafting, it was my driver replacement cos of my unstable Driver shot. I can easily hit this 3 wood over 220 yards on average. I had couple time hit it over 235 yards. Very forgiving and easy to hit.

I am still using my steelhead plus 5 wood with steel shaft. Foolproof fairway wood for me.

IMO THE best fairway woods ever made. i have the 2, the 4+ and the 5 still in my possesion.
and ive used the 3, 3+, 4 and 7 at various times.

the look, the size, the ease of hitting and the ball flight. BRILLIANT!!!!!

I still use my strong 3 wood. They are so easy to hit I sometimes use it to put the ball in play on a tight hole. They are long and forgiving.

I have the 4 wood. I get the impression these are not easy to find because they are so awesome. I can bend it left or right easily with this club, hit it high and soft, or go at it for at least 230-240 yards. I still have the original Callaway shaft in it. (cool)

Amen, to above post. I pulled my old 7 wood out because my 3 iron was getting a little froggy and it was like putting on your favorite old pair of shoes. I will never get rid of this club.
