His putter is a Redwood Anser and his 3-wood appears to be a Nike SQ (like Tiger's).

Certainly looked like a Ping Tour Wedge on the par 5 out of the high grass. But I don't know which loft or grind.

Project X wood shafts for sure. It looked like some version of a SQ fairway? Ping S wedge in antique.

I love my Rapture V2. Might be the best driver I've ever owned.

His Redwood Anser looked to be "WRX'ed" with a long slant hosel as well.

He was crushing the driver.  What a great performance for him.  How about the SQ FW's?  Seems most the Nike guys still have them.  May have to pick one up.

Open Championship winner Louis Oosthuizen has a secret for his focus - a little red dot on the back of his FootJoy SciFlex glove.

"Whenever I look down and look at it, I know exactly, what's my trigger, focus, forget about everything, just focus, hit the shot now. I mean, it worked great the whole week," he said after his win.

Louis Oosthuizen just looked down at the red dot on his FootJoy glove to stay centered during the stress of The Open Championship.

They aren't even officially introduced yet, and already Ping has scored some major attention for its new S56 irons and Tour-S Rustique wedges with Louis Oosthuizen's Open Championship win.

Oosthuizen has actually been using the clubs since he tested them for the U.S. Open, but his win gives Ping its first for the Tour-S Rustique wedges.

"The new irons and wedges gave me the confidence to play some very difficult shots around St. Andrews," said Oosthuizen, who also used a Ping Rapture V2 driver and Redwood Anser putter.

The Open Championship winner was also first in the field in driving accuracy and fourth in driving distance, T3 in putting, and T8 in greens in regulation.

The S56 irons that were in Oosthuizen's bag resemble Ping's S57 irons. Both sets have a tungsten weight in the toe to improve mis-hits in that area.  The S56 irons, though, feature a longer hosel to also improve off-center hits toward the heel of the club. That makes the club a little more forgiving but allows better players to shape shots.

The Tour-S wedges are based on Ping's popular Tour-W line, but feature more weight in the sole for a lower center of gravity and added ease in getting the ball high in the air.

"Winning a major championship with new clubs is the ultimate in product validation," said John Solheim, Chairman and CEO of Ping Golf. "We're very proud of Louis' exceptional play at St. Andrews.  To have him bring Ping its third major championship in just over three years is very exciting for our company."

Ping plans to formally introduce the new irons and wedges in late July; they'll be available at retail in mid-September.  A forged iron - Ping's first - called the Anser will also be introduced on that timeline.

Reading all the different "what's in the bag" above is exactly why it's a waste of time chasing touring pro equipment.  For good and not so good reasons Pro equipment changes like the weather.

Is Louie hitting a TM 3 wood today?  His 3 wood is white so I know it's not a ping.  They said he is crushing it.
