I have done my research and experimented with too many sunglasses to list.  Right now I prefer Kaenon over the Oakleys.  The Kaenons are sooo clear and the clarity is unreal.  Before someone mentions it, I intentionally did not list Costa - awful for golf.  Just wondering what everyone else was wearing - please post brand and lens if you reply to this post.

*Added Ray Ban after  73 votes had already been cast.  How did I forget them?

Tifosi Ventoux....$60 with hard case, soft cloth case, and 3 sets of lenses for different environments (easy as Jenna Jameson to change those bad boys too).

Tifosi Tyrant $45, hard case, cloth bag and 3 different lenses.  As said before, easy to change and the price is right.

I wore Oakleys for a year and half before making the switch to Kaenons for all of the reasons you mentioned. The only drawback to Kaenons is they don't vent air very well around your face and can steam up pretty quickly. Oakleys do a much better job of allowing for airflow. I can live with foggy lenses occassionally if they keep me from squinting and getting headaches from the glare.  Kaenons are especially good if you play really early in the morning and the grass is still wet.

Brown lenses..better depth perception than gray for the golf course...spring temples with a wrap style that doesn't move with you swing.  As long as the optical center alligns with the center of your pupil its fine.  Then you pick your style...

I have a pair of kaenons and oakly polarized glasses. The build quaility and optics on the Kaenons are much better. I use my Oakleys for everyday use but my Kaenons are now my golf only glasses.

+1 on the Kaenons.  I went into sunglass store to buy Maui Jim and had never heard of Kaenon.  The store let you walk outside to compare and there was no competition.  The Kaenons were much better than the Maui Jims (which I had been a huge fan of).  They are great for the course too - especially the copper lens.

Oakley Flak jacket XLJ with G30 lenses.

They are so comfortable that I can't even tell that I'm wearing them after about 10 minutes.

Voted for Oakley.

I've worn Oakley's since about 1995, currently have Flak's w/ VR28 Black Iridium RX lenses.  However, given the fact that everyone and their mother has a pair I'm thinking of trying something different.  I tried on a pair of Kaenons, and I was absolutely impressed.....might give'em a shot.

I really like Maui Jim for everyday, but have had trouble with them on the golf course.  Almost too intense, it seems to upset depth for me.  Not listed is Rudy Project.  I have a pair coming in to try.  They have their golf specific lens available in several different frame choices.  The lens tint is available in a solid tint or in photochromic, so its level of darkness can vary as it gets lighter or darker outside.  I've heard good things from people who have it, so I am anxious to try it.

I use Oakley Nanowire 3.0's. I find them brilliant on course against our blazing Australian sun. Extrememly lightweight, within moments of putting them on i forget they are even there. The Nanowire's "memory" means that it fits perfectly each and everytime. Also having no frame and a wide lens means it cuts down on the distraction some framed sunglasses create out of the corner of your eye. The extreamly secure and tough case they come with is perfect for storing them in my golf bag as well.

Oakley's hands down. Main reason for me is due to the ear socks. I love the way they fit, and you can wear them for hours without them hurting your head.

I have a pair of Peppers polarized that are fantastic.  I have used Smith optics with interchangeable lenses in the past that I liked as well.

I am sport a pair of Native sunglasses. I think I tried on at least 25 styles of sunglasses including many Oakleys. I have a large head so I have a hard time finding a style that fits without giving me a headache. I ended up with a pair of Native Nano2 glasses. They fit great and come with 3 sets of lenses plus Native has a lifetime warrenty on their glasses.

I will probably be an Oakley for life fan.  I sport a pair of Flak XLJ these days.  I also have a pair of Juliets.  I am trying out a couple pairs of Tifosi though because the price was right.
