Does anyone know if a 2-ball putter can be reshafted (probably looking at a White Ice F7)?  I love the 2-ball alignment but I'd have to swap out the full-shaft-offset double bend for a half-shaft.

Any way to do this without melting the insert material?

Two methods - either cut off the original shaft as low as possible and drill out the remaining end with the correct size bit, or alternatively wrap the head with cold wet towel and leave only the hosel part exposed. Apply heat with a mini torch where the shaft enters the head and it should come out no problem. If fitted, the plastic o-ring where it enters the head can be replaced.
