Stenson also went downhill after the switch to Srixon, now with TM, but still using the trusty Cally 3 wood with Grafalloy blue.

Stenson went down hill after signing with Srixon? How so? he had his highest world ranking of #5 in the world when he was with Srixon.

FT Tour

FT3 Tour when he won the US Open and switched to the FT Tour some time before the Ryder Cup.

I always thought Gmac and Cally were a good match. I really can't get my head around this switch. Are Cleveland / Srixon a big force in the US? Not much of there gear gets sold over here, in the Shop's I visit anyway. Who else are they signing up? Have they had a recent take over and thats why they are investing in a big name player like Gmac?

GMac signing with Srixon/Cleveland will end up being a perfect match.

This company is begining to make some noise in this pre-season.... The purchase of Miyazaki shafts (which are pretty amazing... Tour 43 C.Kua is NASTY), signing GMac and a few others after losing a few big names, etc.

PLUS the '11 lineup looks AMAZING! Miyazaki C.Kua shafts are standard in woods and hybrids. CRAZY good.
CG16 irons are LONG.
CG16 Tour irons are CLEAN.
New putter lineups from Never Compromise and Cleveland Classic look great.
New Srixon balls.

I gotta disagree, I'm not sure G-Mac signing will do much for them to be honest.  As far as their new line, woods look great.  But I think the irons are ugly and the wedges are nothing really new, just slightly blended CG14/15.

Technically he signed with Srixon so he will not be playing Cleveand irons. Wedges will be Cleveland. He played with Clevelands all through college at UAB so he is somewhat familiar with there offerings. Had a Srixon iron in his bag during his practice rounds for the Shark Shootout.

Here is a new pic of his bag.  Wonder what is under those headcovers.  Might be his old stuff but could be some new.  Possibly the mashie?

Is he getting 3 million dollars more than what he got from Callaway?

I would take that any day if he still can play his Callaway woods and putter. I mean, forged irons to forged irons, how hard can it be and how big difference can it make? I'm sure Srixon can make the irons he want..

McDowell's new irons, wedges and ball, as listed on his official website:

Irons:   Srixon Z-TX irons (as someone correctly speculated earlier in this thread)
Wedges:  Cleveland CG15 DSG oil quench
Ball:     Srixon Z-Star

Ah JHMac, thanks a million for calling me a lunatic.  That's really nice dude. Really nice

Every what's in the bag on golfcentraldaily.com is done with the players and the tour truck guys.  I know players change regularly, you have to take that into account.

I'm only trying to make golfcentraldaily.com a fun site for golfers to get away from all the boring stuff on other sites.

Anyway here's the most up to date GMac what's in the bag as confirmed by Graeme on twitter and Conor  at Horizon.

He's going with a cleveland launcher fairway and 588 wedges at Kapalua.
Here's the link GMac Whats in the Bag 2011
Cheers mate, I hope I can convince you to like me now!

Still wrong... He uses ZTX2 irons. The hybrids aren't the same as the pictured ones.

Sorry dude. Will try to get the graphics updated as soon as more pics in.  It's always going to be a bit fluid until everything settles down.
Cheers,

No change on Callaway FT Tour driver, Odyssey #7 putter and Adams hybrids. Still got the old faithfuls in the bag. Bag set up looks great.

Can't find any pics but apparently he's using the Cleveland Launcher in round 3.  Here is a list of his most recent equipment tweets:

RT @soflahack @Graeme_McDowell will you be gaming the driver at some point? >> Used the Cleveland Launcher today. My old FT Tour first 2 rds

RT @ray_matthew @Graeme_McDowell what shafts you got in the ZTX? >> Project X 6.5 flighted Rifles

@Graeme_McDowell                       #Cleveland #Srixon are making some fantastic equipment. The Z star ball is fantastic and the new ZTX irons are beautiful. Start of a new era

@Graeme_McDowell                       Callaway gone because my contract was up  and we couldn't come to an agreement. I've left a great company and gone  to another great company.

Interesting he switched mid tournament.  He did use it in practice some.  In the pic I posted above you can see it with the headcover off.
