At the moment I have an Ogio bag. Don't know the model, it was a freebie. But it sucks. Need to find a new one.

Feel free to tell about your current bag and why you have it.

I have a Callaway weekender cart bag that I purchased 2 years ago, but I wouldn't buy another. I liked the 14-club dividers, but since they aren't full-length the grips get tangled up anyways. The fabric around the top is getting frayed and the rest of the bag is fading. The thing that bugs me the most about it though is that it's not properly balanced - it always wants to fall forward unless it's on firm, level ground.

Ogio Grom.  Great bag.  Very functional.  Clubs are easy to access (woods are on the side), has a soft-lined pocket for valueables, multiple pockets for other crap, insulated water bottle/beer holder, ball "silo" and tee holders on outside, and non-zippered ball pocket.  Very well made, too.

It is actually set up for walking and there is a scorecard and pencil holder that is vertical when the bag is worn horzontally on your back.  It is positioned next to the insulated drink pocket - all within easy access of your left hand.

Carrying Cobra GT stand bag.  Great bag that I got on closeout last year.....plenty of pockets, good club divider (no stuck clubs), and closable drink pocket

I use the sun mountain MPB.  You can use it as a stand bag and if you are going to put it on a cart or push cart you can zip the legs up in their compartments to accommodate the cart and not cause damage to the legs which also works great when you put it in your trunk. The 14 club divider is great and I love the fact that it has a separate putter well. Plenty of pockets for whatever you need. A great bag.

Have you ever walked with the Ogio Grom? And if so how did it feel, light, or heavy?

the grom isn't very walker friendly... it weighs over 6 pounds. i occasionally walk my local muni course... by the end of the round the grom feels like it weighs a few tons.

aside from the weight issue, it's a great bag.

I just got rid of my Sun Mountain MPB and went to a Ogio Grom. Grom is far better configured as a walking bag as all the pockets are exactly where you would need it to be when the bag is on your back, and none are at the right place on the MPB.

Grom is a little heavy for a carry bag but the two extra pound compare to some super light bag is well worth it IMHO for its functionalities. I mean it's less than 10% of total weight when it's loaded, so it's not that big a deal, plus I use walking as exercise so I don't mind the 2 extra pounds either.

I have had 2 Ogio bag (Edge & Ozone) completely broke apart on me in the past 4 years so I swore I would never get an Ogio again, that's why I went with Sun Mountain.. but at the end, I still came back to Ogio. This time I know it's not going to last long, so oh well...

I also have a TM R9 Microlight (3.8lb), for times such as tournaments when every ounce of weight saving could be important. It doesn't have nearly as much bells and whistles as the Grom but does have all the necessary functionalities, such as vertical drink holder, ball pocket etc.

Been down this road...
Went w/ the SM Four5 for this year and am VERY satisfied.
There's not one thing I don't like about it.
It's light, looks great, has the drink holder in the perfect spot while seperating ALL of my clubs.
The quality is there as well.

I bought the Clubmaxx ZZeus last year. So far it's a great carry bag. Slightly heavier than SM bags I've had but it carries easy, and has support inside that keeps clothing from jamming the club section. Converts to ride on a cart in about 10 seconds by taking the legs and strap off.

I have a 2008 Titleist stand bag. Love it. It weighs 4.5 lbs, so easy to carry. Good pockets. Sits decent on a cart. My wife and daughter both have them as well. I play 3 - 4 times/week and have virtually no wear with this thing.

I have a grom as well, I would NEVER carry it.  Just the basics get it up there in weight.  I have a huge roller bag that matches the golf bag design, kinda like an old tweed couch from grandmas house.  I love their designs, use it mostly on cart or push cart.

Just bought the Ping 4 Under to replace a free Ogio Grom.  I liked the Grom and it will be my cart bag, but the weight was just too much for walking.

The 4 Under is so light but big enough for 14 clubs, balls, tees and water bottle.  I was looking at SM 3.5, but ultimately just like the Ping better.

Even though weight was the key factor, I just couldn't see myself with the Swift or the Titleist Ultralight.  Just too small and I'm a bigger guy.  My wife said it just looked funny.  Besides, the 4 Under is plenty light.

If I were looking for a single bag and rode as much or more than walked, I'd look at the Hoofer or SM 4.5/Titleist Premium as compromise, but I walk almost exclusively and an extra two to three pounds makes a difference.

I have 7 sets of clubs and 4 of them reside in Ogio stand bags (Grom, Exo, Covert). Great bags! A touch heavier than some bags, but all around I haven't found a better bag for my walking!

I use an OGIO SYNCHRO and a PING HOOFER VANTAGE.  Both bags work well for me.  My only complaint is with the legs hanging down when I walk on the VANTAGE.

Bought a Sun Mountain C-130 cart bag some years back. Since the last 4-5 yrs, we've been caught by sudden heavy rainfalls even though the weather channel predicted no higher than a 40% chance of precipitations. I got tired of having to bring the bag back home to let it air dry overnight. So I bought a SunMountain H2N0 WATERPROOF bag.

PROS: Sealed zippers, waterproof material, very light ( it's actually a carry bag with the leg mechanism removed). I use a SM, V1 pushcart so the zippers are really exposed to the elements and it definitly does it's job (take it back to the locker room, wipe it down and it's ready to go)

CONS: Expensive, no outside putter well, the beverage pocket is not insolated. Had to get a cooler that holds two - 1L bottles to attach to the push-cart.

NOTE: I pre-ordered the bag when it was announced two years ago, there could have been some up-grades added since.

I have TaylorMade's pure-lite stand bag.  I love it because it is super lite compared to the bags I have had in the past.  Just fyi for those of you looking for a new bag, Adidas is giving away a 2010 Open Championship Staff Bag as part of their Wear in the World Adventure contest.

Ogio. Have a Mizuno stand bag but needed a cart bag. Looked at every cart bag imaginable and for the price, the Ogio Syncro was the best value. Plus it was light and didn't look big and ugly.

I've got a Ping Hoofer 2. I didn't choose it to be honest. It was a Team Bag for my high school. I love the pockets and storage on the bag, however the club area and stand are this bags downfall to me, Getting clubs in and out of this bag regardless of how you're using it is next to impossible for me. I carry 11 clubs right now and can't perceive adding another club to arsenal with this bag. The stand works, however The legs don't extend out all the way when you set it down.

I'm looking at the Taylormade Supreme Hybrid Stand Bag for my next bag. I like that it has a cooler pocket and a 14 club divider.
