Interesting that he plays the 95g Steelfibers in his irons to the PW, then jumps all the way up to the 130g DG S400 in the rest of his wedges.  That's a huge jump in shaft weight from PW to GW.

That is a pretty big jump but Im more suprised that he is using the 95 grammers to begin with.

Wonder what the swing weight would be in those things. I've tried lighter steel before, not sure if they were weighted properly from the factory for those light shafts, but I certainly felt the club head kick quite a bit more drastically.

It's funny because shaft balance point has a big impact. I put these in a set an they came out butt heavy. I had to load the head with lead tape. I thought they would be D6 with a 95 gram, but they came out C8. They don't feel overly light swinging them. I went stiff 95 gram after using DGx100

Anyone know what putter kuch is playing this week at firestone? Looks like some sort of ghost but it has a black bar as the alignment aid. imo it resembled a yes natalie without as much cut out and white obviously.

Didn't see it yet but is it the CO-72 Japan model?

The kid at GG that did my SS (my first ever) said I was right at about Kuchar's. My numbers generally match up quite even to his in the OP, although I can man-up from time to time and rip 300+ here and there.

Totally awesome that the PGA Tour money leader of last year ( what an impressive feat) uses some "go to" clubs and has pretty average SS. Cool.

Saw an interview with him at the Deutche  talking about some of his equipment.  He did say that he has some Bridgestone J40's in the bag, but i couldn't tell if they were blades or cb's.  When did he ditch the Tourstage irons?

The Tour Stage irons he uses are the model that BS used to make the J40CBs. So he has pretty much been playing the J40CBs since almost 2 yrs ago. X-Blade 705-S

He was using a Squareback in yesterday's opening round. For a guy that did so well last year, he sure has gone through a lot of putters this year.

Those look a tad Walmartish to me. I'm sure they are incredible and all but, just sayin'.

Looks so sick.. Nice small compact head with a superdeep like face.

Kuchar is playing, and putting, lights out right now at the President's Cup.  Looks like the odyssey putter is serving him well... for this week.

Anyone know what shoes Kuchar was wearing today (final round) @ the Master's?  Any updates on bag too would be awesome too?  Current FW and Hybrids?  Really like the Aerotech's in his irons. Thanks.

Looked to me on the 15th when he hit it within 6 feet that was a TM SF 1.0 FW, but I could be completely wrong. Just sounded like a TM, and it really looked like one with the slow motion I did on his follow through.

They said in the Masters coverage that he had a 23 degree or so hybrid in play for the week. Any details on that?

They showed him handing it to his caddy on that same hole. It was a Burner '09 or '08 (pre-superfast). Don't know about tour/TP.
