I'm a total noob, but I think the requirements system weeds out a lot of scammers.  Yes its tough if you want to just join the forums and list your wares, but it makes me feel comfortable looking to buy knowing that everyone with listings is connected to the site in some way.  I got ripped off on eBay last year.  First and last time I'll buy clubs there.  I'm looking forward to contributing more to the forums and listing my first ad once I've met the 75 post requirement.

Just to be clear..

You must first pay $5 to post

Then another $10 per week to pin

I just sent $10 up the ladder to pin my newest ad,   but I think I needed to send the $5 first ?

Thanks guys...

you dont have to pin your add, paying 10 makes it pinned to the top of the page.

do you have to have 75 posts to add a want to buy topic?  How do you add that anyway?

I have been a member for going on 6 years. It amazes me how little I have posted and just lurked.

This may be a dumb question but what exactly does the $10 fee for the pinned ad?  I am looking to sell some irons and would love to sell them on here.  Thanks for the reply!

Gets your add stickied up at the top.  Meaning it won't trickle down and eventually end up on the second page.  I'd make a FS add let it ride for a few days and if get no nibbles, then pay to have it pinned.

Trying to get there as well... I am not certain as to what exactly constitutes a post though... I've replied to several topics yet my post count remains low... so do you actually have to start a thread for it to count as a post???  I also agree with the rules... with all of the scammers and counterfeiters out there this is absolutely necessary.

Even though I'm a new member and have some things I would like to sell, I like this system too. When it
Comes time for me to buy or sell, I'll feel more
Comfortable doing so.

Seems fair enough to me.  I am trying to get away from selling my clubs on eBay since the fees are becoming ridiculous.  This site seems to be a perfect place to sell my clubs

Do you get credit for a post when you reply to a forum topic?

Working on mine also, I think once you buy enough stuff and you have a good rating you could sell.  Just a thought

Did'nt have enough posts yet, so I sold 2 hybrid heads on ebay. Ended up making a grand total of $14 after all the fees and shipping. The 75  post rule is very fair.

I do have 75 posts so i believe I don't have to pay the 5 buck fee.  Also,  it's my understanding that I do not have to pay the 10 pin fee but then my add may be dumped down to next page.  So I can pay the 10 bucks to bump my add to top???
Is that correct?

Also is there a form to pay the 10.00 dollars and who do I pay it too

Under my name when I post the count is different than when I go to my profile. Is that normal?

I just noticed that mine is too.  Maybe it has something to do with posting WTB adds?

I like the change, when I was going through the classified. seemed like all the equipment was just being sold to make money, thought this was created to just further assist golfers.
